I agree but the only lineman that might be taken that high is Stanley and a lot of people are saying he has huge bust potential. Not very strong and gets beat by speedy fast rushers a lot. Obvs if we can get Jack or Ramsey we take them but it will be impossible to get them where were at. I like grabbing VH but we have so many dbs right now do we really need him. Obvs BPA but Rowe should have a good year and we'll have McKelvin and Carroll fighting over the second db spot. We also have Jacorey who looked really good last year until he went down in pre season. I think we have a total of 9 dbs right now. I think it basically leaves Ezekial which isn't bad at all. Yes they have short shelf lifes but he can do it all. Even block really well for Bradford when needed. I don't see that being such a bad thing. Use our third round picks on a qb maybe Cardale Jones and a decent lineman and that should set us up for a decent draft hopefully.

that early bye week might not be a bad thing. it'll give pederson time to iron out any growing pains that may occur.
but the end of the schedule is going to be a grind for sure.Always $trive and Prosper

Big trade just happened with the Browns
We Get
2016 1st round pick (#2)
2017 4th round pick
We Give
2016 1st round pick (#8)
2016 3rd round pick (#77)
2016 4th round pick (#100)
2017 1st round pick
2018 2nd round pick
Man, looks like trade rape to me. Amazing how much teams get for a top pick. Looks like we also have the easiest decision to make at #2, just take the QB that the Rams don't. This is a huge gamble. I think Bradford deserved another year in a system that fits him better than Chip's. He's only 28 years old, yes I realize the injury concern but we just gave up an absurd amount for another QB when the jury is still out on Bradford.★☆★ Full-Time Philadelphia Eagles Fan ★☆★

It's an awful trade and makes zero sense.
Have how much tied up in Sam and Daniel? And now we're mortgaging the future for a prospect who's not even that impressive.
So let's say Sam has a career year and wins us 10/11 games and makes the playoffs. Then what? Move on from a sure thing to a question mark? Or worse, we finish with a top 5 pick and miss out on it because of this awful trade.
My god what is this organization doing, they're so caught up on trying to replicate the Reid era that they're throwing away any chance of success in the future for something that won't be replicated.*****Eagles/Phillies/Flyers/Sixers*****

I completely agree. We gave up way too much. Sure if either Wentz or Goff end up being franchise quarterbacks and are better than the average quarterback it might be worth it however history says most qbs taken in the first don't end up living to the hype and are worth all the lost picks. I would have rather we trade back and grab Lynch and a 2nd or 3rd round draft pick if we wanted a first round qb so bad. I would have loved it if we grabbed Hagreaves. Yes qbs important but I think Bradford can be atleast average for us and with Hagreaves we could possible have a top 5d in a year or two especially with the other picks we would have had. Denver and Seattle both proved you can win a qb with an average qb. Not liking the trade at all.

Man, I even forgot about Chase.
The f--k are we doing with 3 mother f--king QBs?
Absolute best case scenario, this turns into a Favre/Rodgers situation. Maybe Bradford plays well and wins games for us for a few years and perhaps we trade Bradford (after he gets injured again) and let Goff/Wentz start.
inb4 3QB system
EDIT: 22m for Bradford next year and 15 over 2 for Chase
Also, we just announced Bradford will be the starter this year, so no QB competition★☆★ Full-Time Philadelphia Eagles Fan ★☆★

I like it. A lot to give up, but to have a QB that you're in love with who is only getting like 6 million a season for the next 4 years, it's a good move.
Bradford only has guaranteed money this year, and a team that is a contender desperate for an immediate starter (Broncos, Jets) would be willing to trade for him on the basis that we pay the guaranteed money and make it cap-feasible.
Let's say we can get Denver's 2nd (what they would give for Colin Kaepernick). We would get our franchise QB, have a 2nd and 3rd this year, 3 5ths, 2 6ths, and a 7th. And in typical Eagles fashion, we'll probably trade one of those 5ths for a 4th next year.
2017 yes we're missing a 1st, but other than that, we're not really in the hole much. 2017 2nd, 2 4ths, 5/6/7. Oh and 14 million in cap savings with Wentz's contract versus Bradford's. That 14 million can be used to sign a good free agent or resign some of our own players.
2018 we'll miss a 2nd but the rest of the draft is in tact.
If you hit on Wentz... You have a 23 year old franchise QB for the next decade. Not really gonna be upset missing out on a first round pick.355 Bench

I'm not a fan of this trade. Neither Wentz nor Goff are sure bets. Trading away a buttload of picks for a QB, after we just signed Bradford AND Daniel to expensive contracts, seems like a bad move to me. I'm fully willing to eat my words if one of those QBs ends up becoming a quality starter or we manage to trade Bradford for a draft day haul (but that depends on just how desperate the Broncos and the Jets are). I just see shades of RGIII in this move.

i dont like it.
just seems like these two top QBS are a product of media hype and incessant analyst talk.
if they do manage to become top QBs, i'll happily eat my words but it just seems like such a massive price to pay.Always $trive and Prosper

I'm honestly thinking we can get their first. They'd only have to pay Bradford 7 million this season. Both Fitzpatrick and Kaepernick want even more than that.
The Broncos just came off a SB win and have a veteran roster. Whoever they take at 31 isn't going to help the way Bradford could this season.
So unless they wanna ride with Sanchez, I think they'd give up 31.355 Bench
