It usually is, but I find that caffeine and I just don't get along at all.

Got a make a drive through the night from NC to Ohio in about 3 weeks, don't know what I'm gonna do then.

Usually Diet Dr. Pepper is light enough on caffeine to not upset me but still enough to keep me awake with some help from 5 Finger Death Punch.

Just gotta stay away from Apple Fritters though, that there road snackin.

Just a heads up breh, there's a runner thread in the misc. http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...14923&page=159

There's a couple of REALLY excellent runners; Anony, sgregor, juju etc who are really good and really humble. It's sorta dead tho, but still a positive place.

RE: I got all cramped up running and dehydrated. Couldn't do a y justice to this beauty.

Get some GLUTAMINE. SERIOUS. and maybe magnesium.

I was wondering if there was one. Thanks.

I use Milk of magnesia, but I'm slowly trying to figure out what's causing the stomach problems. Turns out I get over 200% calcium, and then I started taken Tums like candy.

    Calcium can cause constipation.

My stomach doesn't seem to like caffeine anymore, I used to drink two pots a day.

I think the stomach cramps came from constipation.

Usually I'm putting in three or four sessions a day.

I don't know what part of the UK you live in but there are some there, try this website to search for them.

If my wife can do three pounds of pancakes, you can do at least 3 pounds. It's fun to try at least once.

Looks absolutely disgusting. But is the most GOAT dip ever, for memorial day BBQ.

1 8 oz package cream cheese, 1 16 oz Jar salsa, 1 pound ground sausage.

Just cook the sausage and add it all intoa crock pot.

    Been a little while.

Thinking maybe I've been overdoing it a little and not recovering with the addition of the running.

Digestive system not working like it was despite the amount of fiber I eat, tired, losing motivation, waking up a lot throughout the night, legs always tired, and most importantly lowered appetite.

Was going MFW - Full body workout with 2 days of squat and dead
T, TH - Kettlebell snatch workout
    Sa - Long run

    Going to a PPL routine.

    Monday
    KB Snatches

    Tuesday (Legs)
    Squats
    Leg curls
    Leg Ext.
    Leg Press/calves
    Easy run

    Wednesday (pull)
    Pullups
    T-Bar/row nautilus
    Upright rows/shrugs
    Deadlifts
    7.0 MPH run

    Thursday
    Hill Sprints

    Friday (Push)
    Bench
    Triceps Ext.
    DB incline
    Dips
    OHP
    Easy run

    Saturday
    12-13 mi run

Hopefully this works, I'll make adjustments where needed.

Something a little more cut friendly and pic friendly, got out my DSLR camera and started taking the SD card to work.

Mixed one cup of Siracha sauce and one cup of honey to marinade chicken in overnight and just roasted it. Should have roasted the vegetables in with the sauce as well. Kinda tasted like a slightly spicy sweet and sour chicken minus the sour.

    Ok, so I'm back.

Went to Ohio at 153, came back at 173. Despite being in a significant calorie deficit I still haven't burned off all of the glycogen (currently 163), which goes to show you don't REALLY need a refeed that often unless you're doing something extreme.

Having some odd pains on the inside of my forearm around my elbow area, giving up snatches and wide grip pulling motions until I can work through it.

After giving up the hot peppers, I think that may be what's been causing my stomach issues. Kind of a bummer because I really like hot food and just started growing my own jalapenos and habaneros.

Been running about 10 80-90 yard hill sprints lately on Thursdays and they've been getting easier, I have a weighted vest that I might start adding in because I don't want to take the time time to run more than 10.

Due to the massive amount of food I ate in Ohio, my diet hasn't been anything exciting lately.

I'll leave you with the last meal of the vacation. Sergio's pizza in Raleigh, NC. Not great sauce but it was aight.

    16 X 16 inch Sicilian about 1.5-2 inches thick.

    Spoiler!

The waiter came by and said he has boxes because I won't be finishing it.

That's cute buddy, yes I will.

Dude, that totally sucks about the peppers. I'm growing jalapenos and habaneros myself.

Actually, I was cutting a jalapeno last night and made the mistake of rubbing my eye. Ya, I'll never do that again! brb 15 mins later and my eye is still on fire.

That pizza looks amazing and lol @ the box comment!

Went rather low carb and low calorie last week.

Long run at mil 9.5 I may have hit Ketosis, hit a major wall and felt like crap the whole rest of the day. Took me 45 minutes just to eat my eggs, and the day after I wasn't very hungry either.

Not 100% sure on keto but based on stories that's what I figure. If that is the case then Keto is not for me.

Can confirm, but it's also largely over-exaggerated. It sucks, but it's not that bad.

No carbs for a few weeks - it should be expected that you're not going to feel very good.

It really wasn't that bad, I believe it was just exacerbated by the fact I was mid long run. I actually got over the really bad part right after a nap and plenty of water. Which is what made me question as to whether or not it was keto, was how fast I came around.

I did have significantly reduced appetite the next day and that's honestly the part I don't like. Just doesn't feel right.

Been a little while since I last posted.

Been stuck at 157-159 since I went to Ohio and honestly I think I'm just gonna hang here for a little bit and just focus on getting energy back to increase numbers.

Ran 12 miles last Saturday at 2:05 and then went out for burgers, fries, and a candy bar Friday with my wife. Ran 13 miles Saturday morning at 1:57.

    Carbsgoodmang

Don't think I'm going to quite bulk yet, but at this point I'm relatively satisfied with my physique. I'm ok with a little pudgy, just want those numbers to come back.

I need to get into actually tracking my workouts but I hate carrying around a book with me in the gym.

    Damn, mirin those lengthy runs.

I carry a notebook with me in the gym. I hated it at first but now it's second nature and beats trying to enter everything into my phone imo.

Thanks mang. I may need to get a composite book and start taking it in so I can get a better idea of what's working for me and what's not.

I gotta keep up with accountability. So I'm going to start recording my workouts more often, I find if I see that number from also week I'm more likely to push harder this week.

first time I ever publicly announced my Weak azz sqauts (I was lazy before and was the 420 Ib half squater).

    Legs Day

    Squats: 185 X 4, 4, 5, 4
    Leg Curls: 110 X 7, 6, 5, 5
    Leg Extensions: 125 X 10, 8, 8, 7
    Leg Press/Calves: 8 Plates X 8, 5, 5, 5
    Glute Bridges: 135 X 10; 225 X 8, 7, 6
    Front Squats: 135 X 6, 5, 3, 4
Easy run 30 minutes at 5.5 MPH - 2.75 Mi

Nutrition 2500 calories. I get my minimum fats and proteins actively then just fill the rest out with calories. Don't particularly track every type of macro. (A lot of my calories come from vegetables)

Weak but proper squats beat heavy quarter reps any day in my book. Good on you for not ego-lifting.

I treat my nutrition the same. Get minimums and fill with calories. I've been eating 2-3lbs of veggies /day recently.

Haha I'd always rather wait for 15 minutes than use the "wrong" bar.

    Rough run on Saturday.

    Didn't eat enough Friday.

Went out too fast to start and slowed way down.

After the run by the time I finally got my appetite back, went to a baseball game for work and got a nifty little wrist band that gave me all I can eat at the concession stand near our Terrace. People like me shouldn't have this kind of freedom.

    Spoiler!

This morning did 35 rounds of kettlebell swings for 245 swings with the 80 pound.
I'm an introvert trying to be an extrovert.
