Hope the results from the ultrasound is good/treatable. It gets to be frustrating in that you obviously want it to come back normal but you also want something to be wrong so you know what is going on.

Thanks Art, me too. Will find out on Monday. This weekend is going to go slow..... I want to enter the karate tournament on the 20th of March but don't want to pay the fee until I know what's going on.
Thanks Carl!

Oops I missed a whole heap of posts!
Thanks JJ - I really hope so too!
Thanks Luna! Working out is so much more comfortable when I am feeling well.
Thanks Partyrocking! It sure does suck...7 11 are getting a lot of business out of me at the moment. Coke slurpees soothe my stomach for some reason.

Glad you are feeling better. Hope that something turns up from the ultrasound so they know what/how to treat your issues. I am beyond frustrated for you....can't imagine what you're feeling. Hang in there Vic!!

So finally feel like we are getting somewhere. Had my surgeon appointment this morning and said that my digestion is REALLY slow. Mainly my stomach but also bowels. So I am having a gastric emptying study on Wednesday and he is sending me to a specialist in the city (about an hour away) for another opinion. I might end up with a gastric pacemaker. For now I'm taking Domperadone which seems to be helping a little. He's a bit worried about the evacuation issues so he's sending me for another defocating study. Ugh..just feels like a never ending series of tests I just want to be well! Slurpees are helping me maintain my weight at the moment.

Wow, that's a lot more testing, but at least they have a plan in place to do something for you. Never heard of a gastric pacemaker. Yay Slurpees!

Thanks Hammie! Won't really make too much different to my leg workout, but should challenge me a little more in upper body departments.
Thanks Sophie! It definitely helps a little bit. I"m not allowed to take it today though as I'm having my emptying test tomorrow. This should be real interesting. That's weird that it's not approved in the US as its quite readily available on doctors script here.
Did same leg workout as last week except increased lunge and calf raise weights to 4kg dumbbells and 15kg on single leg press, extension and curls.Instagram: vicclesloveskarate

Aww thanks Moose. You rock mate
Thanks FallenAngel!
I'm sorry that your sister still has problems with the gastric pacemaker. I heard that can be the case. I'm feeling a bit better from the meds so am hoping that meds might be all that are needed.

I hope I didn't forget to respond to anyone!. Anyway, have felt a little better the past couple of days. I think the meds must be helping. Though I know I seem to go through random flare-ups for some reason. I'm hoping the specialist might be able to shed some light on why that happens. Still have one more test to go. Not a pleasant one either I really hope I haven't busted the mesh. Anyway things aren't going so well in the weight department...I"m down to 120. So scales aren't going in the right direction but its difficult when I don't have an appetite. Also I get a bit scared of eating when I'm in flare-up stage because I can be triggered so randomly. I did however enjoy my raspberry slurpee and chicken chips lunch yesterday. Apologies for my rambling post I had a long nap this afternoon and am feeling a bit groggy.
So somehow it ended up being lower body day again.
Lunges 3 x 10 - 10kg barbell. This actually felt better than the dumbbells.
Single leg presses 3 x 10 15kg on each leg.
Leg curl 3 x 10 15kg
Leg extension 3 x 10 15kg
Calf raises 3 x 10 4kg dumbbells in each hand. Could have done more but couldn't be bothered.
Core strengthening work in-between sets.
Not gym related but posted another video on my retro gaming channel. Don't mind my odd facial expressions.

Damn Vic sorry to finally find my way back here to see you're still having issues. Good to at least see some training going on though. Take the little positives. Training and slurpees I think I must have missed out on crazy taxi back in the day.

Good to see you hitting the gym again and that you're feeling a little better.
Speaking of games does anybody remember this online computer game from 10+ yrs ago called Jump? That was the coolest game I've ever played, kinda like Mario, only with Jumpy this little guy who was a vacuum cleaner and made hysterical "umph" noises when he jumped. It was really good 3d for the time and he had to go through levels collecting rings and hitting checkpoints without falling off the edges of the moving board, VERY much like Mario actually. The people who put that online took it down at some point but I check back every few years or so to see if I can find anything.Current PRs:
