Yay Vic!! Nice to see you back at it again!
Hope you get some answers soon on your GI issues. It has to be so frustrating!! A friend's daughter was having some similar issues and had a lot of testing done and they couldn't figure out what was going on. She happened to get into a car accident and had some pain in her hips, so they ordered an MRI. Hips were fine, but the MRI showed her intestines and appendix were in the wrong place (birth defect) and part of her intestine was being cut off causing these issues. So she is having surgery to have a large portion of her intestines cut out, relocated and reconnected. I had never heard of such a thing. I thought of you when I heard the story. Hope you get some answers soon!My journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159386641

So today I moved onto lower body and despite the weights being light I really felt the burn, especially on lunges. Was nice to see some muscle twitching. Nice weather here so probably going to get in the pool later today and do some kick board work.
Lunges 3 x 10 - 2kg each hand
Single leg press 3 x 10 - 10kg
Leg extension 3 x 10 - 10kg
Leg curl 3 x 10 - 10kg

Core strengthening program at end.Instagram: vicclesloveskarate

Great workout. And jealous of the good weather...wish we had that here. Tired of the cold already and it hasn't even been that bad of a winter.
I'll take lunges any day over squats...but I know I'm weirdWorkout Log / Chat thread...Embrace the Dragon: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=169711903

Sometimes the lifts you don't like at first grow on you over time.
I used to dislike deadlifts because my grip strength was poverty, but now we're cool. Similar to my past dislike of eggplant. Now I love eggplant. You can't help the hopeless.

I am still at that stage
Thanks Arti! You are welcome over along with Jen and Hammie I'm not a fan of squats or lunges but I'd probably take squats if I had to choose
I used to hate deadlifts when I first started and my form was terrible but I grew to love them. The one lift I miss doing the most. I don't think I could grow to love egg plant, though I did do it with broccoli!Instagram: vicclesloveskarate

Great workout Vic!! Ditto the love/hate with lunges. Actually, I have a hate hate relationship with them! They bother my knees.
I definitely want to come there....we have 3" of snow right now Enjoy your nice weather! My journal: http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showthread.php?t=159386641

Thanks Hammie! I have to have a stack of more tests done so we will see what happens. I wish they could just find the problem and fix it.
Thanks Jen! I used to get pain in my knees but I modified my technique a little and they seem to be ok now. Still growing to like them :P
Hi Matty! Just a nice 90 odd degree day here. You can rub it in when I'm freezing in June. LOL
Thanks Moose! I didn't go in today...I got a little burnt yesterday *pale skin for the win* :PInstagram: vicclesloveskarate

Thanks Hammie! It's hard working within my weight restrictions but doing the best I can.
Thanks Steve! I am definitely glad to be back doing weights again. I really am not a fan of doing cardio at all so even doing light weights is making me happy
Thanks Bow! Just trying to get my muscle working at the moment..its hard when I can't go above 10kg on anything. Fingers crossed I'll be able to lift a little more soon. Really pounding the core stability work at the moment.
Thanks Arti! I sure hope so too. I am going back a bit earlier than expected because I'm keen for my test results from this week and to see where we go to from here. Hopefully some diet mods and meds will all be that's needed.Instagram: vicclesloveskarate

Thanks Luna! Keeping leg day to one day a week at the moment LOL. Will be nice when I can squat..even if its body weight only.
Thanks Moose! Yep, being very sensible with what I can do despite seated chest press feeling like a walk in the park at 10kg. I know I have to be careful.
Thanks FallenAngel! I'm doing them wrong too...finding it difficult with technique.
Thanks Matty! I'm sure hoping for some good news from surgeon too. Having a whole bunch of tests next week so am trying to remain hopeful everything is ok. That sounds cold! Our winter in Queensland doesn't usually drop below 60F. I hope you are ok mate.Instagram: vicclesloveskarate
