Help me with detailing products order

Look over what's in my basket, do you use any of these any like them? Have recommendations on something better or something else I should get?

I have wash mitts, micro-fiber towels and such, needed the small brush for wheels and exhaust tips and needed a new better bucket with a grate (will use current bucket for 2 bucket wash to clean the mitt)

is 303 aerospace best option for rubber trim, weather stripping etc? based on reviews it sounds good (not glossy, not oily)

just personal use on my own cars. I know very little just enjoy taking my time on weekends to clean them up and hopefully keep them in tip top shape. mostly concerned with protecting rather than the ultimate buffed finish

Also not stuck on Chemical Guys, it just seems to be all over amazon no matter where I click and the reviews seem good... if certain products are better at certain things I'm all ears

Amazon's algorithm. Please advise which one's your swap out and with what? price and reviews seemed decent on most of them. Would like to go concentrate and bulk on some things to give a few bottles to my father.

What you have so far is a good start. Have you looked into Adam's Polishes In & Out spray and All Purpose cleaner? Good stuff for sure. Also Adam's wheel cleaner is a good choice to break up brake dust and grime and it is biodegradable/doesn't smell like death.

Are you planning on doing any correcting? I see the clay bar kit but no waxes/sealants/polishes. If you clay the M there is a 95% likelihood you will mar the paint.

Peep Autopia forums if you get the chance. Great knowledge over there.

Gotcha. If it's on a daily and not your M then it's not a big deal.

Can you elaborate on this? I always thought clay barring was harmless so long as you use a good spray detailer and kept the bar clean

Also I rarely wax/seal/polish because im lazy. What do you recommend on paint both with and without clearcoat?

    303 is fine...

I'd swap out the chemical guys for griots products. I really like the end result better with those products.

Especially their polish line with the da random orbital polisher.

Even with a great lubricant claying can cause marring on the paints surface. It's not fair to say that claying is safe for the paint. It is necessary but by itself can cause superficial damage that is easily corrected with a polish.

As far as a LSP, anything without a clear coat is gonna fade quick. I think their mat new some solutions out there for a car without clear but I'm not familiar with any since I've never dealt directly with that situation. Otherwise any reputable manufacturer has a wide range of good products. Just depends on your needs. Do you want to wax every few months? Do you want long term protection with maintenance touch ups only? The list is long for potential products it's just a matter of figuring out what your goals are and going from there.

Looks like you have most of the bases covered, I don't have experience with the Chemical Guys products you have but haven't heard anything bad.Give Sonax Polymer Net Shield a look if you want something that will shed water and dirt like crazy. I had a black Marauder and it was the only LSP I've tried that kept it looking the cleanest for longer periods of time. Combine that with their Brilliant Shine Detailer and you're good to go IMO. When I wanted to make it pop I would use Pinnacle spray wax or poorboys paste wax. I have limited experience with tire dressings but I really like AMMO Mud especially since I could use it on faded trim and it'd look good for quite a while.

Like others have said though Autopia and autogeek have a plethora of in depth reviews.
