So last night was shoulders! Can't even tell you what we did lol.
Machine Shoulder Presses (Plate loaded)
10 per side x15
20 per side x12
50 per side x12
70 per side x10
70 per side x8
70 per side x4 dropped to 10 per sidex12
Lateral Raises:
7.5'sx30
10'sx20
15'sx12
20'sx9
15'sx12
15'sx10
10'sx20
Drop sets all over the place after that lol, think I dropped down to the 5's for 20 and then did a few more sets with the 10's.
A1- Bent-Over Flies:
5'sx20
10'sx15
10'sx15
10'sx10
7.5'sx15
7.5'sx15
5'sx12
Something like that lol, Basically trying to get higher reps and whenever they only reach 10 I drop the weight and do more reps
Front Raises:
10'sx12
10'sx8
7.5'sx12
7.5'sx12
5'sx15 Something to this extent lol
Then we did one arm cable lateral raises:
7.5x10
5x12
5x12
5x10
5x10
And supersetted those with
Tricep press machine
70x25
120x14
120x13
120x13
Then supersetted
Tricep Rope Pushdowns:
32.5x10
32.5x8
22.5x15
22.5x14
Cable lateral raises
5x12
5x12
5x10
then supersetted more:
Rope pulldowns w/v-bar pulldowns for 4 sets each
22.5x14
22.5x13
22.5x12
V-Bar:
22.5x10
22.5x10
22.5x8
Then supersetted KB lateral raises with Kettlebell front and side raises lol for about 4-5 sets of each. I used the little weights
Our goal is to basically smoke the muscles until they give out and I've built up a pile of endurance in my muscles and can basically go forever until I can't lift my arms hahahaha. Took about an hour and 45 minutes.
Tonight is a rest day, tomorrow is HEAVY LEGS! Happy Friday! Long weekend for us Canadians! And I took Tuesday off so super long weekend for me!
Bodybuilding show now tomorrow! See what that's all about lol
Might take some progress pics soon Legs are looking nice!

So! Bodybuilding show wasn't very impressive lol. Seeing myself every day and then looking at competitors....well, there's not a whole lot of difference hahaha. If I was leaner I'd look better easy.
Not to toot my own horn or anything but I was not impressed. They were just skinny with a muscle base. Then you had the older ripped women who looked like they were on everything and their muscle base was still unimpressive. My avi from 8 months ago looks better than they all did hahaha! Meh.
Diet is going great, workouts are great. Weight is all over the place but there is a general downward trend. I can see myself getting leaner and my legs are shaping up nicely.
Strength is not going anywhere, getting rep PR's everywhere lol. Cheat meal Saturday night but muscles were still soft the day after so I did a mini carb load day. Filled out my muscles right nice
Happy Will have to post some progress pics soon!
Oh, won some supps too in the promotion threads and can't wait to get themTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

I find that a lot with bikini comps especially. Some really work for it, and it shows. You can tell many of them just lost some wheight, and decided to enter a show ( for validation I guess?) Sometimes I'm like "yeah, I could drop down until I'm underweight, and jump on stage half-assed too!"
-_-

Exactly!!!! But I was shocked at the overall winner. The girl who was the best conditioned with lots of muscle lost to a taller, softer girl. Pics are below if anyone is interested! Mind you, they all looked great but not what I was expecting after being on this site for so long hahaha. They were a lot tinier in person
https://www.********.com/pg/nldivisi...69754276497300
The blonde girl in the purple lost to the brunette in the blue.
EDIT- They actually look way better in the photos hahaha. Their backs were soft and they were all holding weight in their glutes/hammiesLast edited by gobbles23; 11-15-2017 at 09:53 AM.

Sometimes judging is weird like that. It could be the over all winner had better symmetry? I'm noticing a lot of girls coming in with softer legs/glutes lately, I think sometimes they don't give enough time in prep and say screw and do it anyway. Not that I have room to talk, can't seem to lose weight to save my life right now lol.
I have a friend that met Dana Linn Bailey in Las Vegas the last year she competed and she commented how small she was in person. Video and pics make a lot of them look bigger than they are it seems. If this were easy, everyone would walk around ripped.
I like eating, it helps with the not dying.

True, so tiny. In pics they look like they have a lot of muscle but in person they're skeletons lol. They didn't look stage ready, a lot of them. I was like I could walk on stage right now with a tan and look better lol. Not really but a few pounds away from that you know? The judges I think liked the height and waist of the girl who won.
She's also a model and is sponsored by a supp company so some think it was politics as well. They like the softer overal bikini type look. The winner had really soft quads and hammies and glutes and no back muscle. The girl who took second (the blonde) had muscles popping everywhere and killer glutes/hammies. But she was so short and compact, it made her look really thick.
This was a non tested show! Drugs everywhere lol. Dying to see the natural competition hahaTeam Cookies Give You Superpowers

So last night was biceps and triceps! Did every set with hardly any rest. Did 4 sets of 4 exercises for triceps and biceps. Then I did 56 minutes of sweaty cardio!
Had eggs and a protein shake post workout Killing my diet! Feeling great! Today is back day! I'm so sore all over hahhaha. Forgot how bad recovery is when you're dieting. But that's ok, getting leaner, doing good Excited about my next bulk! My arms were huge last night lol, what a pump!

So we rested since Thursday! Just relaxed. Took a small diet break too! Nice little refresh. 6 weeks of dieting, 4 days of rest lol, now another 5 left to go til Christmas and then I'm relxing the diet over christmas and starting to increase cals.
Weight was down to 137.5, then back up, then down, now back to 140 after the little break lol. I didn't go mad or anything, just needed a break from the monotonous foods and my core temperature dropped so bad my lips and fingers were purple 24/7 lol.
My boyfriend told me I was tiny this morning and on Friday one of my coworkers told me she could actually SEE all the muscles in my legs through my jeans So it's working! Can't wait to get a pump
Looking a lot smaller and leaner and my abs are way more defined. I'm expecting a water weight drop this week after lower cals/carbs and training all week so I'll weigh in now on Friday.
Food for the week looks like:
9:00 AM
2 eggs, 1/2 cup oats
12:00 PM
Pork chop
1/2 cup rice
3:00 PM
1 can tuna
salad
ff ranch dressing
6:00 PM
some kind of meat + 1/2 cup rice
10:30 PM
Protein shake with water
probably 2 whole eggs lol
Coffees all day w/creamer. I'm bad too, I'll end up eating an apple or something during the day. Maybe a Fiber One bar or something if I can't stand the hunger but I should be fine.
Taking E/C stack, so that helps a lot. I also find where I take that and have BCAA's during my workouts with caffeine in them I'm usually pretty energetic during my workouts and can keep them up for a while so that's good!
Back and biceps today!
Chest and triceps tomorrow
Wednesday may be light leg day for me
Thursday can be Shoulders
Friday heavy legs
Happy Monday!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers

Just calculated that and my protein is ridiculously low at 117g lol and cals were below 1300. Better day today hahaha. Man I'm just so out of ideas when it comes to food and I'm so sick of meal prepping. 4 more weeks!

Rested last night. We spend a lot of time at the gym so we are cutting back a bit now so we can enjoy life more lol. Went browsing for christmas stuff last night and spent time together decorating the tree! Tonight is shoulders and cardio
Tomorrow I'm not sure what we are doing but we figure 3 times a week in the gym is fine. 4 even but we are going to start enjoying things a bit more haha. Feels like all I do is cook and meal prep and go to the gym. Getting burnt out lol

Yes exactly. Harder going in the evenings because it's flat out til bedtime, you know? Get in, cook, clean, meal prep, relax for ten minutes, get gym stuff on, drink coffee, go to gym, lift, come home, eat, make lunch, go to bed. Repeating that 4-5 evenings a week is rough lol
Yeah exactly. This week we are going hardcore again, but my car broke
So now my boyfriend is working this evening, has to pick me up and drive me home on break and go back to work. So I can't drive over to lift with him or go to the gym after work tonight. Thinking of doing a bodyweight leg workout lol
This weekend was super busy looking at cars and figuring out my options. Slept all day yesterday because I was hungover lol

Sorry about the car.
Lol, I said once in my log before that sleeping all day is the only way to survive a hangover after age 25.

New low on the scale today! 135lbs. Which is about 5-6lbs down in 7 weeks. I'll take it I've been pretty loose with my diet lol
I actually did do a bodyweight leg workout at home on Monday lol. Then last night we were too busy at the dealsership test driving cars and contemplating life lol, ran a few errands and realized how broke we are Christmas is a hard time to lose your car lol
Tonight is shoulders and cardio. Tomorrow I think we are going to do a full body workout since it's been a while we went heavy on the main movements. Squats and deads and bench lol. Babe tells me we will die. I kind of agree

Happy Monday!
Oh, as for the diet too, I definitely have more muscles. I can see way more muscles in my back specifically. I'm feeling pretty small and lean at 135 lol, it's awesome. I've been relaxing my diet on weekends and being very strict on weekdays. So far so good!Team Cookies Give You Superpowers
