Hello,
I remember using one of these approximately 10 years ago. I want to buy one but they dont seem to exist anymore...and yes, I know 89% of you will say "what's wrong with you? Just nail some 2x4s together".
I called Life Fitness asking about these, they indicated these are not made anymore. At the time of this posting you cant retrieve a google image or any information when searching "hammer strength calf block". I have attached an image below, if nothing else this post will make this historic calf block find-able in search engines again

It may just be the angle but that doesnt look very sturdy to me. Kinda seems like it could flip on you pretty easy. Im guessing thats not the case since hammer strength builds rock solid products for the most part.

Keep an eye on Craigslist, they do pop up every once in a while. I have seen them in the Philly/NJ area. FWIW, the Body Solid block also gets pretty good reviews, although I'm sure it is no match for the Hammer Strength in terms of build quality.

@Bulkmore it does look like it will tip forward. It's been a bit over a decade, so I can't say I completely recall, but I don't remember that being an issue. If I ever land one I will let you know.

I wanted to come back and update this thread, although I may be the only person who cares
I still use the Hammer Stength calf block every week that ndmike99 sent me (thank you ndmike99!).
I actually just restored it and am posting pics. The only thing I couldn’t find was a replacement metal nameplate. While restoring I found the model number, I believe it was “STCF”. I wonder when they stopped making this. I can’t find info online.

So is it pretty stable? I made one out of 2x4s that was a rectangular block much like that and ended up having to extend the base several inches to keep it from tipping.
