Hello everyone! Just joined. My family and I have joined our local YMCA. My 14 year old and I want to start lifting. I've lifted some in the past, not much....but have, LOL! Have a question. I'm a 43 year old type 2 diabetic. I'm wanting to start taking creatine. You all think that it'd be safe for a diabetic? Thanks!!!

Also, there are a lot of things far more important to your results. The first two, above everything else combined, are that whatever you do in the gym, you do it consistently over time...and you track your food/nutrition daily. Everything. www.myfitnesspal.com

Hi, I'm Chris - I've started lifting weights again after an interval of many years. I started working out in my early 20s and have done it off and on throughout my life. I've got very average genes and asymmetrical abs! I started to put a lot of weight during lockdown which was depressing as hell. So I hired a personal trainer and lost 15kg. I'm currently struggling with a rotator cuff injury :-( but I'm trying to work around this as best I can.
