Sup guys! My name is Mike and I'm a powerlifter and PT from Vancouver, BC. I fell in love with the iron 3 years ago and never looked back! I started out at 240 lbs skinny fat and bulked my way up to a nasty 300+ lbs! After a year of that, I finally decided to cut down and reveal what I had underneath. It took me about a year, but I lost over 100 lbs and became the strongest/leanest I've ever been at 200 lbs! My lifts are a 485 squat, 350 bench, and 660 deadlift. I'm dedicated to helping people get better, regardless of the goal. Sharing the gift of health has been a passion of mine since I lost the weight and it's something that consumes me every day. Glad to finally be part of this awesome community after years of lurking!

Hi my names Rick , I'm a alcoholic. Sorry that's Tuesday's at 7:00 , wrong meeting .
Anyways it's nice to meet you all . I'm old (55 in April ) but I believe lifting weights is a good idea at any age. I've been pumping iron off and on since the 80's , mostly off though .
But I'm trying to improve myself as I'd like to shed around a hundred pounds . I'm 5'8"s tall 280 pounds , and the doctors told me I'm short for my weight , and should be closer to 8' tall.
But I'm pretty proud as I benched 240 lbs the other day . Not bad for 90% body fatThe Misc was right about sloots

Hi everyone. Aspiring bodybuilder here 20 years of age. Been working towards a golden era style body for almost a year now. (lifted weights for about 6 years total with different goals). I really appreciate anybodys opinions especially criticism. I am trying to compete in a classic physique contest as my own coach, so seriously any input is greatly appreciated.

Gday all. So first off I'm from Melbourne Australia. I'm 24, I've been overweight my whole life but a couple years ago it got really bad and gained a heap of weight. Got up to 185kg(don't know what that is in lbs sorry) for someone who's 5'8" that's a bad time hahaha. I've been going to the gym for around 4-5 months so far, in that time I've lost 20kg and gotten around 45% stronger. So that's me, looking forward to getting serious in 2016, sorting out my diet properly and such, monitoring my progress properly as well.
Cheers

Only been lifting for 2 years but it is my passion. I'm majoring in kinesiology at my university. My other passion is helping people and I want to become a physical therapist and/or personal trainer. Good luck in all your fitness endeavors fellow bodybuilding peeps!

May the gains be with you!
Hi everyone!
Formerly 300lbs!!!! No joke! I was a size 20-22 now down to 22%BF and around 155lbs.
I discovered a deep seeded LOVE for the gym. Started my fitness journey as a cardio bunny running 4-5 miles EVERY DAY... I was skinny fat, down to 142lbs and while I did lose the weight, it was not the body I wanted. I had no idea what I was doing I watched a lot of workout videos and subscribed to fitness and muscle magazines, I couldn't get enough. The next logical step was enrolling in ACE (America's Council on Exercise) to learn how to properly workout and train, and I did.
Certification test in MARCH 2016!
I lost my weight the boring way, cardio and diet. No surgery, just HARD WORK! I'm not perfect, no I don't diet. Yes, I am comfortable in my own skin.
Yes, I am standing in one of the pant legs of them pajama pants!!!! Same ones!!!

Hey everyone! My name is Ryan and I'm on my own journey to become the strongest version of myself (thanks Elliot). I'm 24, currently 235 lbs (down from 281 and shooting for 190). I'm looking for new people to be in touch with, maybe check up on each other's training once in a while as I really have no one to do that with. I do have a kik and Skype account, and both usernames are Palehorseman68. Or maybe just shoot me a message on here. Thank you for all your motivation!

Neet. Hi everyone! I'm WillNotBeUsed and I want to get training again. I've been working out for about 3 years where about 1 year have been proper training 5times/week. I have since then moved to another city and started uni, left my training bud behind, and am now having a hard time working out and completely stopped working out a few months ago. Time to get back in again.
Progress: ~70kg --> 80kg
Goal: >90kg
I'm thinking of starting doing SS training 3 times a week but have had trouble with it before. This time I'm gonna get the book and do it proper.
Good luck to all of you!

Hello everyone! 34-year old guy from Northern Virginia. At the time and date of this post, I am approx. 240 lbs. at 5'9" and 34% body fat and want to get down to a solid 155 lbs (or a higher weight with a body fat percentage under 10%). I love dance (lindy hop, boggie woogie, blues, balboa, solo jazz) and feel I could become a phenomenal dancer if I would only push my body to its limits. I also recently discovered a love for hiking and want to take on longer and more challenging paths. I will use this website to help me accomplish these tasks. I decided to join after reading about the Fierce 5 program and seeing an amazing thread from hiking enthusiasts. I am excited to get started!

Hi everyone. I'm an 18 year old college student that has been working out since I was a senior in hs. I'm satisfied with my body but would maybe like to put on a little more weight. I weigh 165 now and my goal is to gain maybe 10-15 more lbs of muscle. i am an ectomorph so it is a little harder for me to gain weight. I just need to start eating more and clean and hopefully things will go up from there. Happy new year to everyone and good luck in chasing your goals!

Old user returning after a long battle with health issues that kept me from activity. But that is on the turnaround. I joined the gym yesterday and got all my sups for a 12 week cut. I'm looking at dropping 30 kg in my first cut. Today I walked my kids to school for the first time in years. 2698 steps of sweating and not being able to stop smiling. 2698 steps more when I go get them this afternoon.
Tonight I get my start measurements calculated and I will be holding myself accountable on these boards. Tomorrow is day one of 84, feel free to follow along. I love all of you and want to see us all succeed inspire and encourage. Results may vary. If pain persists see Kris Gethin, C T Fletcher, or Jim Stoppani and HTFU.

Hi, I'm new to the forums and to body building in general...just wanted to introduce myself and say hello! This is the year I decided that I would try to make changes to my body instead of just complaining about the things I didn't like about it. I gave myself some sessions with a trainer as a birthday present to get myself started and now I have a fairly solid eating/workout regime, so I'm off to the races, as they say. Working out seems pretty addictive, (I used to absolutely dread doing it until I found a trainer who made it fun!) but the bodybuilding world itself sure is hard to figure out or try to participate in at times. I would like to make friends with people who make body building part of their daily lives and hopefully find friends I can count on for advice and inspiration. I would also like to find a workout partner in my area!

Hello guys. I had an account years ago, but I never used it though. Got real fit in the gym - although I was too skinny - had a fall out with the gym though and lost all my muscle due to some unfortunative events. Well here I am years later, decided to get back in shape. I work now and go to school.

Hey guys, I'm Brittany! I've been using this website and browsing the forums for a while, but now I figure it's time to actually participate. Haha! Fitness, for me, started out as a way to look/feel better, but it quickly turned into an obsession.
If you're on Instagram, hit me up, I'm southerncharm36. I love connecting with like-minded people.
