I found this thread at the right moment! I am considering setting up my home gym and need honest opinions on several accessories, among them cable attachments. I will follow this thread until I decide which one to buy lol. Thanks for the initiative.

I've head the spreader bar and the RO-T8 handles for a few weeks now. I'm very happy with them, and the freedom of movement they bring over the standard cheap handles. One small critique I have for the spreader bar is that it's long, and is designed for use with taller cable machines. I have to get a little creative with my Inspire FTX FT, as it's a tad short. It would be interesting if they can create a shorter version.

Any suggestions for a revolving curl bar attachment? I'd prefer something with a little more bend (can't think of the word) to it because I have bad wrists that get aggravated by the "typical" ones. The American Barbell one looks pretty good but it's sold out.

This is a comparison of the stock photo on American Barbell's website (top pic) next to the Ivanko curl bar I just received yesterday (bottom pic). Unless you mean something else entirely by "a little more bend", this bar qualifies as having a higher degree of bend. Plus my order was placed late Friday afternoon and arrived 5 days later via UPS.

I'll throw in some pics (non-stock version) of my American Barbell cable curl attachment...you can't go wrong with either that you can get your hands on, but if you want slightly deeper bends then the Ivanko looks to be your attachment.

I am a big fan of the American Barbell one. I have the economy version which appears to be in stock at the moment. I'd look at the rotating pressdown v-bar while you are at it.

Excellent point, I totally forgot about the AB V-bar attachment which is another great attachment when flipped upside down for cable curls (the groove is just right).

I own the US made version of the V-bar attachment (I wasn't a fan of the AB cable curl US version...they should've just made that one with traditional curl bar grooves which was why I went with the overseas version on that one).

Here's a pic of the US AB V-bar (also shown is the US AB low row attachment)...

Still the best on the market, I haven't ran into a better attachment for tricep / biceps. The angle is better than the import version and the handles are slightly thicker. It's one of those 'buy once cry once' attachments that you'll never regret.

Speaking of attachments, quick update on those MAG knockoffs I got from Walmart (Everyday Essentials). Great value, I've decided to sell the wide attachment and the supinated close grip, but the two medium and pronated close grip are keepers for sure. The close grip pronated dual functions as supinated and IMO feels better than the dedicated supinated attachment. 100% happy with the purchase, just need to flip the two and call it a day

The import one might work really well for you then, the angle is more steep than the US Made attachment so it should be more wrist friendly. But me personally I just feel like the US Made version feels about perfect for biceps/triceps, but you really can't go wrong with either. The upside to the import is that it's solid steel and feels like a beast, while still being 1/2 the cost. Attachments are nuts right now, I'm surprised AB is still relatively affordable on those.

Here's an interesting thought, for those considering the Everyday Essentials cable attachments. I can't seem to find a buyer for the supinated close grip, so I combined it with the second medium for super sets. Looks stupid, but it works!

I've had mine now for almost a year, zero complaints really. The only issue I had with them was the two medium ones are too similar, at least for me, they should've made one a supinated grip just to differentiate a bit.

The only thing I dont like about them is they feel a little spongy compared to MAG's, but for the price you really can't complain much.

To those who aren't familiar with the original lat bar version of this attachment from BWTG, it's in my opinion up there as one of the best cable attachments along with the MAGs (wide and medium pronate and medium supinate) particularly in the lat bar category.

Just got a pair of the new Rogue handles and tried them out this morning. I like the knurl and the fact that the handle rotates independently of the strap makes them a winner.

Mine came with black straps which look nicer than the photo on the site IMO. It would be cool if they came out with a version with a thicker grip and more aggressive knurl, but these seem like a good all-arounder.

Looks nice, and also quite expensive.

Did you also had a look at the Tryon Handles? They are also crazy expensive, but do look quite ergonomical.

I am interested in trying these. Interestingly enough, even though I have the way overpriced Kaz handles I still prefer the cheap, rubber handles I got from some random company on Amazon a couple years ago to anything else.

Not quite the same, but I have Prime ROT8 handles that I haven't fallen in love with. I have to think too much to use them. I'm not selling them and I'm pretty confident I'll eventually like them for certain movements but they aren't a grab and go handle like the Rogues.

Interesting. Doesn't look like they are available in the US or at least you have to import them. Looks like a love it or hate it product. With so many good attachment options out there, I'll wait for them to be more readily available.

That's how I feel about the Kaz handles. I actually get a lot of use out of the ROT8 ones, any pulling motion I absolutely love them. I do chest supported lat pulldowns, one armed lat pulldowns, bent over cable rows, and a few other row variations with them.

I have the Tryon handles, ergonomically they're as good as they look and they sit nicely in the hand, but they could rotate a little more freely and the Urethane finish isn't really to my liking.

The best movement for these handles are cable curls, the way my hand is positioned on the handle is just perfect for me. Overall they're decent handles, but really overpriced.

Do you have more products from Tryon? The tricep rope looks also very unique.

Do you prefer the Tryon handles over the 'normal' ones?
May i ask why you bought them, as they are one of the most expensive handles on the market, with basically no reviews.

A lot of those attachments look like Klingon Bat-leth clones.
