Will definitely check these out, haven't heard of them before.
I've been busy with finals week and courses and haven't had much time to work on anything. Over winter break hopefully I can learn quite a bit. How do you guys retain all the knowledge and how to remember the syntax for each different language? I assume just lots and lots of practice.

The first one is for Javascript/node.js/ MEAN stack. The second one is for Ruby on Rails. I'm not sure if the The Odin Project is active anymore. I know FreeCodeCamp has tons of people doing it and is updated all the time. Look at its Reddit subsection for example.
Both are free versions of 'bootcamps' that aim to take you from knowing nothing to being employable.

I'm reading through some of the Odin Project's introduction right now...the comments all seem to be pretty old so it may not be active.
I see all about those bootcamps, I guess they are not too expensive if you compare to a full bachelor's degree - I just wonder if employers actually acknowledge and hire from them?

Wordpress is old and gross. Outside of using those resources i posted on post #59 I'd say building a site is most beneficial. Start by building yourself a personal website, build an idea you have, emulate a website that isn't too crazy. You learn the most when you struggle and work through your issues.

When it comes to web development, someone else has probably already had your issue and asked about it on stack overflow.Los Angeles Misc Crew

I have a degree in Computer Science. I work as a Firmware Engineer on an enterprise NVMe SSD project.
At work I mostly use C++. Also some python, json, System C, and ARM Assembly.
Don't game much anymore, but have a pretty beefy system that is more than capable. i7 4770k, 32GB Ram, GTX 970, multiple SSDs, and 3x 4k monitors.
Code:inline bool isOpA*******() { return true; }
