Rumor from Qyburn to Cersei is apparently theres tons and tons of wildfire hidden in the vaults under Kingslanding. There's also that Bran vision where he sees all the wildfire and it exploding. Inb4 Cersei blows up King's Landing.

Reminds me of the vision Daenerys saw when she was in the house of the undying. The throne room was destroyed with ashes and snow all around.

edit: anyone else think the lannister and frey armies/leaders might get slaughtered somehow?

the only 2 scenes from the s6 trailer that we haven't seen yet. maybe a 2nd 'red wedding' but with the brotherhood (including The Hound) slaughtering the Freys/Lannisters.

Srs? Having a movie type battle costs probably half the budget of the entire season. A season of game of thrones costs almost as much as a full feature studio film, they have to cut costs in some areas and this episode was definitely it. Spent 15 minutes on forcing Tyrion awkwardly into the episode too. Was a 5/10 episode. Without the Hound or Bronn, the episode goes to 2/10, saved only by mortal kombat mountain

Just my opinion, but the show is getting worse with every episode. None of the characters are interesting now, and it just flits from scene to scene without any sort of order or flow.

Good call, the writers are smarter than we think. Why waste time on an awesome sea battle and have her emerge victorious with easy CGi of ships burning in the background when they could instead use her 20 minute title intro to kill time in the next episode to set the season up for the cliffhanger finale. Brilliant.

the end scene when aria just walks off all confidently in the end as if she is 'going home' made me cringe so hard. the show loses all credence when it compromises believability for dramatic chit like that. she just got her stitches in her gut completely ripped open, the stab wounds would have pierced her organs for sure, she was limping the scene before but now she can stride completely normally. wtf?

still not as bad as the waif acting like the terminator in that chase scene though. god almighty that was awful - was like some mission impossible movie where the bad guy gives the protagonist a million and one chances to live. so fking unbelievable.

Yeah irked about that myself. All that chasing, stabbing, storyline, and build up and I sat there legitimately blinking for a moment before I then realized HBO gonna HBO, the previewed this entire scene years ago:

So does being a Faceless woman imbue you with no real skill? The Waif has been one for her entire adult life (she's almost 40 and joined around 6). She lost in a fight with a scarcely trained little girl. All the build up between her and Arya, and their fight happens offscreen. Weak resolution.

Jaqen got snuck up on by Arya, and she could have killed him then and there. Not impressed with him either. I guess stealth kills is all their lot is really good for.

Arya abandoning them altogether was also pointless. Like all the build up to this storyline the entire show and there is nothing to show for it. Now Arya is just going to go back home (and likely be reunited with Jon and Sansa once they take Winterfell). It feels like she was just pissing around with no real plan, plot, or point the entire show and book now.

Also, f*ck Tommen. F*ck him for outlawing Trial by Combat dashing my hopes for Cleganbowl against a wall. Hounds gonna join the Brotherhood now and likely go fight for the Starks against the White Walkers when they come. On one hand, he'll probably be reunited with Arya who will vouch for him and become a loyal knight for House Stark with Brienne. On the other, we could have had Cleganebowl. Both are good but I was pretty hyped for the latter.

Also, the Blackfish fighting to his death offscreen felt pointless too. I always thought he would come back after surviving the Red Wedding and rock the foundations. Now his entire story and the siege at Riverrun are pointless too, because the Freys and Lannisters won again and we're right back to square one.

This entire episode just felt like pointless resolutions to pointless storylines that could have been cut out altogether.

lolwat. We're not asking for some LOTR Battle of Helm's Deep.... just a 1 min sword fight between 4 or 5 people. No special effects or sweeping landscapes needed.... Blackfish's death could have been done kind of like Ser Barristan's. Just watch the dude get overwhelmed.

I separated this ep into 2 halves..... 1st half (Hound, Mountain, Bronn) was awesome. 2nd half.... not so much.

I've missed Bronn so damn much. Tempted to go back and watch those eps with him and Tyrion again. So many lolz were had with their banter.

The writers actually did the impossible too and made me root for Cersei. Lulz @ the faith militant chitting themselves in front of zombiemountain.

STRONG colossal fkn waste of time with the mareen scenes. I got love for tyrion n all but they legit wasted like 15 mins to basically show us dany is back. These writers need to go back to the episode structre that foccuses on a few storylines but gives them the time they deserve. The episode was called "no one" so i was expecting a damned 20+ mins of arya.
Also, where they do want to save time, they cut out all the cut scenes like wtF?? desrespect to the great blackfish dying off screen and we don't even get the satisfaction of seeing waif's demise like fuk off m8
