That Z900 is tempting for the price plus it is a purist bike, no bish switches. Dat pillion dough makes me want the RS version more.

My bike still running like poop. Pumped the fuel out and going to run her dry.
Test rode some dudes S1000RR today. Bike is damn fast and fairly comfortable but that price tag and those service costs.

So, heres my bike with me on it. Lol I went over and showed my grandma my new toy and she snapped my photo. Leave it to grandma to make me feel sick before my ride home. ate 5 plates of home cooked food. I know it isn't as sporty as the gsx'r but let me tell you. it is very comfortable

Once the ECU was flashed, it is a new bike. smooth and all. Pretty much done with her though. I dont think I fit too bad on the bike. For 10k OTD for an 18 model. I think it has the best bang for buck value in bikes at the moment in this category. The biggest complaint people had was the very jerky/snatchy throttle. The ECU flash completely fixed and and opened her up.

The trail tech vapor is easy to install, I have one. hardest part is to get the sensors lined up right on the front wheel. Speaking of speed wobbles, my 650R used to wobble bad over 80mph or so, then I had the front wheel balanced and its smooth as butter all the way to the rev limiter in 5th gear.

I've had my balanced before. I'm rocking a 400sm. Depending on the road and wind I get them around 70-80mph typically. I have gotten it up to 102, but it was probably about to blow up. lol

I don't remember my yamaha's being bad with the headshake but I only rode without my sm wheels a few times on the road. My KTM on the other hand was 100% a death wobble after 65 mph. It was like the handlebars were trying to do the wave. Had two friends with the same bike and theirs were the same as well. Supermoto wheels adding some weight to the front and I could have it pinned in 6th with zero shake.

The drz I'm a little surprised with the shake considering the sm wheels and just being a heavy bike. Have you checked your head bearings and suspension to make sure it's not out of wack?

i havent ridden my bike in about 5 days or so. i uncover it and i found the right top fairing cracked. its about 2.5 inch long crack. the only thing i can come up with is me spilling some brake fluid on that exact spot. wasnt even alot. wiped it when i could. now im finding out that brake fluid can severely destroy the plastics that badly, or i just have some hater/s that wants to do me dirty like that. the spill was about 10 days ago or so.

Brake fluid is very corrosive and will eat away at the paint if left or uncleaned. Are they aftermarket fairings?

Wearing one of my BB.com free tees out riding Thursday night (tight fit [schmedium]) I somehow managed to get a bee up my sleeve. I was sitting there pumping gas into the DRZ and got stung up by my armpit. I flinched and sprayed gas down the side of my bike. I then proceeded to be stung 3-4 more times before I killed it and got it out.

Can't remember ever being stung but swear I've had some sort of bugs in my helmet or jacket and could feel them crawling around.

Yeah, I just listed it for 7900, I did a search for bikes in my area and they all are that price. I dont really want to sell it, but if someone gave me almost 8k for a 5 year old 11k miles bike. I'm game.

KBB puts it at $7985. Being craigslist no one usually comes through for somethings actual value so I hope someone gives you a good offer. It's always dumb people offering crazy low and worthless trades. Always list on the high side like you did and know what you will be willing to take when someone gives a decent offer.

Its meticulate, amazing condition. The seat in pic looks weird because I shaved it down lol. I have another stocker somewhere in garage. Changed plugs and filter and valves checked at 7500. Everything is mint.

-Expel ultimate clear film around bike and on tank.
-Woodcraft frame sliders, woodcraft axle sliders, woodcraft stator and engine protectors
    -Puig windscreen
    -Fender eliminator, its behind tire.
    -Pilot power 3 tires.
    -ECU Flashed

The bike runs so much better than a brand new gsxr. Runs the way it should from factory. I am not forced to sell, I could keep it as a paperweight for all I care. I would rather do that then give it away stupid low. If I was in a situation loan or something would be different. Just know the other bikes are listed at same as mine, and dont have anything on mine honestly.

If you had to get rid of one bike for street riding either 13 GSXR 750 or GSXS1000 (abs) which would you keep? Also, the rumor mills are saying a brand new gsxr 750 is being released next year, that is a good reason to dump this gen now before its released, would in my mind decrease current model values.

New Hayabusa supposed to be coming out. Rumor was factory turbo.
There is a new Honda CRF 450 dual sport out or coming soon, looked sweet but 10 grand for it. Lulz

Someone local passed away from an on track incident. Don't know if it was a race or trackday or where it was exactly but its going around on the local track pages from everyone who knew him. Some how I did not but have tons of mutual friends.

Glad that worked out for you. I forgot about the rough running. I think I saw that crf450 dual sport. There have been mentions of it for years. Reading a quick clip it sounds like it is really nothing more than what the crf450r already is. Maybe a slightly larger tank and then the lights. A 18 crf450r msrp is $9200. So over a grand of lights. Some states make it impossible to tag your bike dirtbike. Mine is about the easiest. It would make more sense to wait for someone to buy a 2019 crf and then sell it off basically brand new for a huge cut and then get a tag.

I have been on a spending freeze because we're closing on a house. It's driving me nuts being bikeless. Sold my Super Duke in October with intention to snag something else in the spring.

It's looking like I'm going BMW this time. Fell in love with the S1000XR on a long test ride. Counting the days.

Dealer down the street has a couple used bikes around 15k but they're on the steep side. I'll likely do a fly and ride or something of that nature. There are a few well optioned bikes within 1000 miles in the 12-13k range.

GoPro is about the biggest name I can think of. I think there might be some comparable recorders out now but I’d look up some comparison videos to check the quality.

A new version out for the cbr1000rr or the newest generation already out? I haven’t been keeping up to date for years. I think I did hear the cbr1000rr had some transmission issues. Most notably Guy Martin with honda at Isle of man.

    The latest one.
Definitely sexy looking, but still down on power.
Regular GSXR 1000 for 10k new by me. Don't think it is worth it to spend 5k more for the R with the better suspension parts. Temping
