I don't blame him. The bike is gutless until 7k RPMs and then after that you're at the rev limiter. It's the equivalent of a guy blowing his load 2 mins into banging. It's just not enjoyable after a while.

The engine is pretty boring but it's solid for a beginner in terms of power and reliability.

EDIT: We still need to do an Ohio KD meetup and hit the hnnnng twisties in and around Athens.

Anyone have a Tuono or S1000R? Looking at selling my Street Triple R in the spring and picking up one of these bikes. Or possibly the MT (FZ?)10 if they bring it to the states.

I've ridden the Tuono but am somewhat concerned with the gas mileage and have heard they can get pretty hot in traffic. Whichever bike I choose will see a few track days a year, tons of twisties on the weekends and I will use it for commuting on all but the worst of days for weather.

In b4 Niko goes full kraxes on a GSXR1000.

Got "a" new front sprocket for the ktm in today. Said "a" because its the wrong sprocket in the correct package. Ordered a 14 tooth front and the package is labeled correctly but has a different sprocket number and 15tooth inside.
