Don't think they pull the valve cover on 600 miles. Basically they check chain, change oil/filter, check nuts and bolts and little stuff like that. Find a service manual. I regret getting a warranty as I have done most of my mods and service myself since I got a pdf manual.
EDIT: read this, pretty much what I tell people

How much do you brahs think I could get for these on resale? They're all barely used, I just ended up getting newer things (weight changes and look changes).
Probably going to let them go cheap tbh, but I just want to know a baseline price since I have no idea on how to price these things (I was thinking 60% off msrp?)

just go to one of those gas station mechanic guys they will change your oil for free and they have lot more brands like mobil 1 or castrol etc..whichever u prefer.
engine oil is the cheapest replacement on your bike ..and dont bother going to dealership like others said.

did u test ride it?
i m in the typical phase where i am debating between 600-750cc bikes or just go all out on litre bike.
budget will definitely dictate that choice as i dont wanna spend over $12k on a bike..ideally under $10k...which means any supersport litre is out of my budgetF*ck Joe Biden

Test road the Suzy Gixxes 1000 last year.
Does everything pretty well. Fueling wasn't the best on and off throttle. That engine screams as it is returned from the old k5.
Brakes were decent, shocks pretty good. Solid chassis, big frame and swingarm.
Seat was very comfortable. Plus the bike can be had cheap on leftovers.rumpler of stiltskins

About to change the coolant in the GSXR, can't decide between Engine Ice or Water Wetter. Anyone have personal reasons why or why not for either? I've seen testimonial on Engine Ice that it actually does lower temps but then other people say it's no different than average coolant. Changing all the fluids before the first ride of the year so kind of want to do it right this year with better products.

Coolant guy, I use engine ice as it is antifreeze as well as coolant, demo freezing Temps here.
track bike look wetter.
That NSR is sweet. 500cc?
Finally got a hole in my astar gloves. Looking Knox for back up pair.
Thoughts on yamaha fz09? Rode one with exhaust the other day and loved it. That triple is a peach.
Would you guys buy one if you were looking cheaper naked? Triumphs are nice but dealer network is weak.rumpler of stiltskins

friend just bought this a few days ago, he got for 7500 including tax title etc everything. (he got the green black kawi) kinda digging the naked look. should I look into one? Suzuki version for me. including an pic. gsxs 1000 or gsxs 750
I love my 13 gsxr 750 though. 12k trouble free miles. been absolutely fantastic. Not sure if I could own both bikes because I know one of them would never get ridden much. Which would you prefer? 13 750 or 18 gsxs 750/1000? styling. im digging the new hybridsFormer

I want the GSXS1000 in Suzuki blue please. They were going for $8000 leftover last season, they don't sell well but that monster of an engine. They were saying it isn't making the claimed 145 HP too.
The 750 version has improved but still go for the 1k. Massive frame and swingarm from the GSXR1000 too.
fuk local place has the GSXR1000 for $11,000, down $3600 2017 model
That engine is so much fun is the main pro of that bike.Last edited by darkninja67; 04-30-2018 at 04:43 PM.

when i had my ninja, i was at the stage that i was wanting an fz09. the upright position, the size of the bike, the power/torque and its good looking. reason i didnt get it is that its on the more expensive side. they go for around 6k here. when they devalue to around 4k....

The bike lists for 9k in the US
It's main selling point is the price.
Saw a Ducati monster 1200 S on site, forgot how massive the ohlins forks are. 48mm I thinkrumpler of stiltskins

Yeah I see some 2015 fz09's around the 5k mark from time to time. Best two priced ones right now local to me are in the high 5's. One 2014 at 4800.

First rides with the 30k have been good. Phone calls are a little quiet at 40+mph.
The music through pandora is good. I haven't used the communicator yet.
I'll add more as I ride more.

Have not heard of them until now. Price seems about comparable if I remember right. My alpinestars lasted a very long time as well with a few crashes before the stitching started coming out. My newest pair I think they changed the sizing up slightly because they always fit very tight.
