    Flat bench 06.07.18

    Bench felt okay today. Internet is playing up so this took two hours to upload! The phone line is really bad so engineers are still trying to figure out what's causing it. It's been going on for months so we're not happy.

    Deads felt pretty good. I'm so done with this heat. We took Cookie out for a couple of short walks at the weekend but apart from that we were bored because it's too hot to do anything. I wish we had AC lol!

    It blows my mind that people don't have central a/c and heat. I forget what it's like to live where it isn't Summer 11 months out of the year.

    We do have central heating - does your AC double up as heating too? We have a stand-alone system for heating so I'm glad to keep warm in the winter, but we're screwed in really hot weather

    Bench was difficult, sleep quality is pretty sh!t at the moment and it's warm even at 5am. OHP wasn't pretty, but it went up in the end lol.

    I have neither. Fukking crap mountain construction. We have electric heaters in every room and a pellet stove in the main living area, but of course the heat downstairs is installed in the ceiling which also happens to be right under the kitchen so now we can't use it due to multiple leaks. Nobody here has air conditioning. I'm mellllttiiiinnnngggggg

    Nice lifts despite struggles. Sleep issues and heat go hand in hand, it seems. Hot here too cause well, it's LA and summer. We have a little AC unit in the apartment but it hasn't helped in the recent heat wave and really the only room that benefits from it is the living room where it's located. My bedroom gets no relief beyond having the window open. Oddly the apartment does have heating but rarely used even in "winter" here cause really no need.

    Yeah I can't imagine living in that climate all the time, but maybe you get used to it. Our weather can be so variable here so it's a shock to the system when it's hot!

    Squats felt okay, but I'm feeling tired from this heat. I think we're due rain tomorrow so hopefully that will clear the air a bit.

    Woot for slingshot pr! I still so want to try it some day. At the meet the gym just had a bunch of slingshots for people to use. Wish I could lift there but not worth the drive in LA when already commuting to and from work.

    I'm pleased with how my front squat form looks so much better lately. My back looks much straighter, so I'm hoping my back squat will improve too as I get heavier.
