Colds suck. I think it took me a good 6-8 weeks to get over my last one. At least lifting, unlike cardio, doesn't suffer too much... I did find high volume hard while sick prob because of poor recovery. Get lots of sleep!

Yay for the lifting. Wish I could say the cold will be better quick but we're seeing quite a lingering over here too on the colds. Poor pharmacist has had the lingering cough for a month now and at this point, she might still be coughing when she has the baby next month. Glad I've avoided it so far though not sure how.

Way to keep plugging through despite the cold. I hope it goes away soon. I don't know how I've managed to not get sick yet *knocks on wood with a passion* but I'm hoping whatever miracle it is lasts. I don't know if I could be as disciplined as you, especially if headaches were involved.

Deadlifts felt surprisingly good this morning as I felt so tired! Had a weekend away near the coast, which helped re-charge the batteries, although someone thought it would be a good idea to stand/jump onto Alan's car bonnet which has left quite a dent. He's waiting to hear from the insurance company. Frickin' people!

Raised trap bar deadlift = the high handles of the trap bar or something else? I always flip it and use the low handles for greater ROM. Wonder how much I could lift using the high ones lol.
