Hi,
I'm assuming this thread as created numerous times.
Anyway, I'm looking to maintain toned core. My current exercises:
3x10 legs raises (lying on back)
3X10 cable wood chop
3x10 crunches on small circular ball
Any new exercises would be greatly appreciated

Planks. Those are one of my favorites. I do 3 sets of planks for 30 seconds. If I feel like challenging myself i always place a little weight plate on my back. Throw them into your routine. I always do my ab workouts in supersets or trisets. That way im not flopping around the ground like a dead fish for ten minutes.

No amount of ab exercises will tone a core. THe appearance of your abs almost entirely has to do with level of body fat.
Anyway, i think the best ab exercise is a crunch machine with resistance. A traditional crunch most closely follows the function of the abdominal muscles. When working a muscle, you want to work it through its entire range of motion. The crunch follows the abdominals entire range of motion.

JayVincent's comment is right on.
I would say the best ab exercises are the ones you personally feel the most.
That would be different for different people.
Doing something because someone else does it does not necessarily make it a good one for you.
Don't put core in with abs meaning the core is more than the rectus abdominal area.
Core can be from the chest to the knees and front and back and everything in between not a specific area/body part.
Body fat levels will determine the look of your abs.
They can be built up like any other muscle with regular set rep schemes.
No need for super high rep work and i would say you should go for feeling each and every rep contracting hard.
