I feel like I'm playing COD4 all over again but with more enclosed maps. I'm not the best player, but I had fun losing and that's what matters to me. The multiplayer is extremely smooth IMO. Wall running is seamless, hit detection is spot on. The only thing I don't like is that the maps feel cramped to me, as opposed to big wide open spaces like MW 1 or 2 where I loved to set up my perimeter with claymores and snipe away. Can't wait to get into zombies

Coming from the guy who disappears for years at a time.
I like it. Only played a handful of games, but it definitely feels like Treyarch. Definitely slower than that pile of monkey crap Advanced Warfare. The little boosty exo things barely make you more mobile, and it isn't like AW where you'd have guys flying over every wall hipfiring and wasting you before they hit the ground. The most I've used it for is seeing a chasm and using it to wallrun to the other side. And boosting slightly to recover or poop on a sniper.
Takes noticeably longer to kill people as well. I haven't had any instances where I've been instakilled (yet), and I'm counting at least 3 hitmarkers on most engagements. So it doesn't look like this game will have the crappy times to kill like the previous ones did. Not quite the marshmallows they were on BO2 though.

What gun and character setup is everyone running?
I'm only around lvl 10 in MP so I haven't unlocked a lot but so far I like the 3rd assault rifle down and the chick with the grenade launcher as her special.
Also what's up with the black market? Does the dudes inventory change daily so you just have to decide what to spend coins on or is it always the two packages with random rewards and you gotta hope for something good from it?☻/

playing campaign on realistic difficulty...unless Im completely missing something theres zero way to lean left or right. I sure wish the controls were the same as wolfenstein because its pretty much one shot and your dead. Iv dead probably 15 times in the first 45 minutes of game play and I think I survived getting shot once.
Im not complaining about dying because I enjoy the challenge but Iam however complaining about the lack of thought with the control-ability with my character.
When needing to be able to peek around corners and pillars is critical and not have the ability to do it, it might just drive me insane.
I played the beta and it was fun. I havent touched multiplayer since I bought it though. I want to do the campaign and zombies first. May not even get that far since FO4 will be out in 4 days.Carb Mal-absorption, no breads, sugary snacks, rice, pasta...live off of 30-40g a day.

The VMP is solid. A lot of people use it.
I prefer the Weevil. It's like a pocket ACR. No recoil, fast time to kill, large magazine. I don't even use attachments on the gun.
I'd also look into the Haymaker. It has surprising range. Don't bother aiming down site. I'm trying to unlock long barrel as we speak.

It's really nothing like COD4, the only thing I can say is that it feels smooth. Doesn't seem to be all too laggy, like BO2 was. Your yellow bar guys will be noticeable, but I haven't had many (if any) instances where a guy was noticeably ahead of me. It does feel sometimes like I get way too many hitmarkers, but I don't know what to attribute that too. Maybe I'm hitting something else, maybe the sound of the hitmarker is making me think otherwise.
It also doesn't seem to be all too necessary to use the Thruster Pack. Unlike AW, where the maps had extreme verticality, you can for the most part get by without using them. So the perk that reduces this is handy, but not crucial like it felt on AW. They also seem more towards the gimmick side than a necessary part of battle, outside of maybe hoping over a wall or rooftop. I could see them being more necessary in Uplink or a game like that, but in TDM I never even think of using it.
Perk wise though, Tracker is balls. I thought it would be on the mini-map, the enemy footprints as maybe tiny dots, but it's only on the ground itself. Seems a bit useless. But they have another solid mix of Perks. Ghost/Scavenger/Awareness/Dead Silence is a possible combo, so the days of stealthing up and wrecking, BO2 and 1 style is still there.
Overall seems like a really good addition, but of course that's only after maybe 4 or 5 hours of playing.

I agree on the hitmarkers thing, thats one of the main reasons i switched to hardcode mode where everybody dies in 1 shot and its more about who has better reactions, also regarding Tracker perk, I think that perk may be pretty useful in game-modes such as Search and Destroy and Free for all where you chasing/locating the enemy is vital. I've been using it in my FFA matches since thats the main game-mode I play and its been quite useful for me.

Yeah that would be pretty accurate. To be clear, when I said I feel like I'm playing MW1, I meant the feeling I get, not that the game is the same. There are still the futuristic add ons and thrusters, but nowhere near what they were in Advanced Warfare. I feel like I can play this game all day, whereas I haven't the last maybe 3 or 4 CODs

Can someone explain what dedicated servers are suppose to be doing? Are there really 100% dedicated servers?
I live near two of the servers. I'm hard wired. No one else is on the internet in my house. Average internet (25 DL). I opened my ports.
I just checked my ping in game for the first time because I'm getting shot by guys that I'm standing behind. It's constantly fluctuating between 68 and 120+.
I'd get it. It's fun but you're not gonna lose time in it like you did in COD 4 and MW2.
