going on a fairly severe cut for 8 weeks, definitely not going to make any strength or muscle gains. If I start a new accessory exercise will my body be too used to it by the time i start bulking again? IS that how it works? If so will try and find a different one for the cut.

As said thats not how it works. I've been doing the same two accessories for squat and bench for over a year.
Also If you are indeed 6'4" 199lbs you should not be doing a "severe cut". Hell you should be looking to gain 50+ lbs.Most of my lifting gets posted to Instagram - https://instagram.com/fayerjw/
