What is the point of all the bracing in that enclosure? I used to install and compete in high end car audio and I've never seen an enclosure with that much bracing. Seems like a complete waste of valuable air space and is not need from a structural perspective....

Back in the days of the SPL/DB wars people would regularly install four eighteens with thousands of watts running through each. Zero bracing (outside of divider between woofers or flooring for bandpass enclosue) was required and there were zero structural issues...

Funny you say that because years ago when it was cool to have subs in your car, I built a box and didn't have bracing like this box I'm building now has and had zero issues. If you frequent home theater forums where people do lots of DIY builds, they seem to all use substantial bracing and take the loss of airspace inside into account. I'm not insanely savvy as to box/port tuning and all the parameters that go into optimizing a driver/box combo so I basically let Partsexpress do it for me and just build the box. Years ago I built a ported sonotube sub, but ended up selling it before ever powering it on. The thing was huge and awesome.

Curious what you photograph with such a long lens?

Mirin the D500. It's a great camera. For that msrp though, I'd have to go FF i think

I have the same body. I like it a lot for the most part. I shoot mostly kids sports with the Nikon 70-200 f/2.8. Went from D750 to D500 and the frames per second bump is substantial.

just bought this for my GTI:

Definitely noticed a difference in power and torque! Hopefully I can get in contact soon with one of the guys at BMS and get it custom tuned, since it can log runs and has support for custom adjustments

honestly I've been wanting to use it, but just havent had the time yet. the wifey got me on to many other honeydo's around the house. hence the paint sprayer. I just ordered a foam cannon to wash the cars, so once that gets in hopefully we'll be in bidness. all the reviews on it are really darn good. my neighbor has the smaller model and he loves it, which is part of the reason I picked up that one.

thats exactly why I picked it up, typically I think anything from HF is single use items not meant to last because its cheap but this paint sprayer on the other hand should be good. plus having a special coupon that made it 165$ then the lady used a second coupon for another 20% off at that price even if it did only last once, money well spent over using rollers by hand ha!....and whatcha waiting for paint that fence!

Mirin the D500. It's a great camera. For that msrp though, I'd have to go FF i think
    I didn't pay MSRP.

This lens is for wildlife (mostly birds) and sports. I went with the D500 over the full frame options because, with the exception of the D850 which is nearly twice the cost, I can put more pixels on my subjects with the D500. I also wanted to take advantage of the 10fps, which again isn't available with full frame. The closest you can come is with the D850 plus battery grip, which will cost you nearly $4k.

Holy crap! Juice Box has come a long with, their chit was like Medusa's head......very aesthetically pleasing. They've always been on point, at least in the BMW twin turbo market.....

I have one. Works great. In fact, used it this weekend. I recommend buying a new tip for it though. If I remember right, the one that comes with it sprays too much paint.
