I've been doing some research on soy after realizing it is in a majority of protein bars and even makes up the majority of the protein in the bars...
This stuff is doing more harm than good for your gains.
Made a quick video (5 minutes) to explain the issue, let me know what you guys think.

Don't even waste my time or OPs with a response - he's still lethargic from the soy crisps and I'm tired of hearing you babble on the forums. Besides I already know what you're going to say.☆☆☆ STATUS – BUY 2 SAVE 15% ☆☆☆ TRIBULUS - BUY 1 GET 1 50% ☆☆☆ AMINOFAST – SAVE $10! ☆☆☆

After a workout, you want the amino acids to be delivered to your muscle tissue for repair and recovery. Whey protein (or lean protein sources like egg whites or chicken breast) are the best for delivering high quality aminos to that damaged muscle tissue.
Soy has a weak amino acid profile and it also circulates its nutrients more in the organs of the gut than the muscle tissue.
Which is why I especially wouldn't have a protein bar loaded with soy post-workout. However, small dosages of soy shouldn't be an issue if you have it as a daytime snack or a bar as a meal replacement.Follow my journey to the 2016 Spartan Beast: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCvoih36zyNmXAbIQ_MaBsHw

I believe it makes a huge difference pre/post workout. You wouldn't consume soy pre/post workout for similar reasons you wouldn't want to be digesting high fats and high fiber pre/post workout. More blood flow to the gut region for digestion as opposed to the muscle tissue.
Take a look at this article: http://www.westonaprice.org/health-t...-training-men/

Studies are conflicted on soy in general and often are using single source protein it's not how people in general eat their are entire cultures who have consumed diets high in soy for thousands of years and further in the US soy is prob 2nd only to corn in consumption in general.
Moderation of anything is needed and as to your ideas on post workout nutrition I 100% disagree and you have shown nothing to support the claim - the idea that you need a meal directly after has long since been shown to be bro science just eat a meal when you can. Eating high fat post daily.
Eating a variety of foods is always going to be ideal-- Microwaves everyday crew --
