    i-CRAF Christmas Cut

I haven't logged in a couple weeks, and some of you were wondering where I am; well, I did take a two week break, and I planned to continue my previous log. However, because my High Protein i-CRAF log was unsuccessful as a method to lose fat, I'm going to go back to my original i-CRAF protocol. You can find that thread, and the links to all the earlier logs, here:

    http://forum.bodybuilding.com/showth...hp?t=168512013

I weighed in this morning at 281.6 lbs, but that represents a huge amount of water weight. My goal is to get below 250 lbs by Christmas, then take another two weeks off before starting another log.

I'll be starting the Kris Gethin 12-week daily trainer again, because it did a great job of putting on muscle.

Nutrition will be the same macros as previous:

    Mon-Fri
    1600 cal/day
    180g Protein
    55g Fat
    98g Carbs

    Sat-Sun
    3000 cal/day
    200g Protein
    80g Fat
    370g Carbs

    Rock and roll!

    Okay.

Eat at 1600 for long period of time & figure out that you can't sustain it & when you hit a brick in the wall & wonder.. why am I not losing any more weight.. then you cut even more calories.. & everything goes to chit...

You're not a special person who needs to diet on hella low poverty calories to hit your goal.. thousands of other people in your same situation think exactly like you & the same results happen to them

But what do I know about dieting or training?

    Best of luck to you.

I'm not going to tell you what you do or don't know about diet and training, but it's clear you don't know my history here, and the extent of the nutritional and physiological knowledge I possess. If it's my clear by my signature that I'm capable of sustained weight-loss, then I'm not sure where you think I'm going wrong.

When I get a free moment, I'll explain the ins-and-outs of my nutrition plan, both for you and new readers.

However, I'll take this time to explain to everyone why I haven't posted much lately. I'm going through a separation. My life will stabilize when I move out next week, but things have been rough, especially since I have three young children.

A small bit of good news, however. I'm down to 274.6 lbs this week. My diet was 50/50 this week, and I didn't even track it. But I will get back to it next week.

The good news is that I'm out of the old house, and in to my new apartment. I can get back to my old diet and training regimen. However, I do not have a scale. I'll weigh myself at the gym tonight, and I'll be sure to get a scale by next week. Now that I'm single, I've got double the motivation to keep this weight-loss going! LOL

It's best for everyone involved, even the children.

On that note, I didn't go to the gym last night, although I ate well all day. I'm still getting over a 3-week-long cold, and it came back fierce yesterday. I feel good right now, but hopefully it remains that way tonight!

I don't have a scale yet, so I can't give an update on my weight, but I have good news. I'm going to the gym tonight for the first time in a month!

I still have a lingering cold, but I feel okay generally, and I hope working out will actually improve it. I'm pumped!

Also, my apartment is starting to feel like home, so that's a bonus.

Well, I don't know how I did it, but I'm down to 266 lbs. I weighed myself at the gym tonight, which was the first time there in a month. I took it easy, but I'm still a bit tight. I did chest, and I fatigued quite quickly. Regardless, I'm happy that my diet isn't the best, and I haven't worked out in a month and I still only weigh 266 lbs.

I tipped in at 263 at the gym last night. That's only 4 lbs away from my lowest a couple months ago. But with 13 lbs to go in the next five weeks, I might just be able to hit 250 by Christmas.

I worked out twice this week, and I took it easy. I fatigued quickly, so I did limited volume. Next week I'll ramp it up. I have my kids this weekend, so I won't be able to workout until Monday.

Hi Tara! Thanks for checking in. My diet wasn't the best on the weekend (I had my three kids), and I was under the weather yesterday, but I feel great today, and I'll be hitting the gym.

I've stopped tracking my nutrition. I'm going to try to use my experience and knowledge from the past 1.5 years to guide my decisions nutritionally.

My weight has been dropping, so that's good. I'm only 4 lbs away from my previous best for the log. I just need to get back to my regular gym schedule.

    Thanks Gravy!

Things are going well, but I apologize for not logging. I tipped in at 262 at the gym last night (have been to the gym three times this week, so I'm back with my routine).

I've also stopping logging my food intake. After a year-and-a-half, I'm pretty good at knowing what to eat, and my diet is so routine, that tracking it will make no difference. I still have cheat meals, but I did before anyway.

I have a month until Christmas, so there's still a chance I'll hit my 250 lbs by Christmas. Being separated, I'll be exposed to less food over Christmas, so it won't be a big write-off like it usually is. LOL
