    Gaming glasses. Do they work?

Anybody use gaming glasses? Not sure if they are a gimmick but I work in IT and game at least an hour or so before bed so I get plenty of screen time.

Do any of these glasses actually help reduce eye fatigue? Can anybody recommend some for a reasonable price if you can recommend them at all?

Try out the f.lux program for your computer and see if you feel a difference, it's basically the same thing. I definitely can fall asleep more easily after being on a laptop for a while using flux than I do normally

flux is very nice and imo far better than any gaming glasses.

I used to play halo professional and wore gunnar optiks, I swear they're are just glasses with a yellow tint and das it. Not worth the money. I sold my pair.

Gaming glasses are gimmicks. I also stare at a screen for +8hrs a day at work and never had any problems with eye fatigue with my monitors at 80% brightness.

    Gaming glasses work for me.

I am in IT and stare at screen all day. But that's not an issue for me. What gets me is gaming at night with the lights off. Many times I find it very hard to fall asleep afterwards. I am talking about staying up for hours afterwards with only 2-3 hours of sleep.

If I use my gaming glasses to cut down on the blue light, I don't have that issue.

I stare into luminescent rectangular portal all day and then play video games at night. No eye problems. I don't wear any sort of glasses. F.lux is good for late night gaming. If you're on console, you can get blue blocking glasses on amazon for like $8, but it is less of an issue on console cause you are farther away from the screen. I think they are kind of annoying to wear. I just pop melatonin, 5-htp, and zma, and I fall asleep fine. You can try Diphenhydramine (benadryl), but I think this fuks with you too much the next day. Was taking it for a long time. After I stopped, I noticed I could think a lot better at work.

Not sure if people are saying the glasses are gimmicks or the symptoms are a gimmick but on weekends when I go out and am not using a pc/gaming for 10+ hours my eyes definitely do not get as blurry and dryness at the end of the day is an issue too. What brand did you buy?

Turned on my computer to study a bit for tomorrow's programming exam when I saw the screen had an orange tint, completely forgot I had the flux program thing installed, tell you what, I can already tell it's a good deal easier to look at the screen now with that activated.
