Normal super katana vs low-cut collar super katana: how much of a difference is there? Guy at the gym gave me a super katana and thought it was low cut but it looks to me like the regular super katana. Worth worrying about?

The low cut is basically just "pre jacked". I didn't see any difference in them.

You can always tell the difference between them by the collar. The low cut will alway have a different color collar.

I'm guessing since it's your second shirt and your first was loose that you may be better off with a non low-cut anyway, so I wouldn't worry about it. Pete Grohoski told me he actually likes the regular Katana better since the low-cut supers have such a small margin of error.

Low cut is a superior shirt for sure. Might be a bit much for your current level however. The low cut locks up hard as fuk about an inch or so off the chest and you really have to be patient.

Thanks for the replies y'all. I checked some more and it's definitely not the low cut collar construction, but I'm starting to think that might be okay since it's my second shirt and I made sure to get it tight enough to last awhile. I got a 44 and I can barely get the thing over mid-forearm with shirt slippers on, much less over my elbow. Either way it should be a huge step up from my used, loose fury.

Headed to Mexico for a couple of weeks - gonna do strongman conditioning outside of my normal training while I'm there.

Either gonna come back more fit or more hurt.

Apparently its supposed to be 10 degrees (50 F) and sunny on Christmas at home though..like what is this. It's December.

I checked some more and it's definitely not the low cut collar construction, but I'm starting to think that might be okay since it's my second shirt and I made sure to get it tight enough to last awhile. It'll be a huge step up for sure. Just get plenty of time in it. I'm gonna refocus more time in te shirt for nationals compared to my last meet where I had more raw benching in there.

From what I'm hearing, he competed in the 231s and had a 611 squat, 380 bench and pulled 700 something conventional. His hips been bothering him and when he was down here training with me the other week he decided to switch to conventional so it wouldn't get worse.

Thanks, I read about his hip issue before, sucks he had to go conventional. Saw the 611 squat posted by someone but nothing after that.

In other news I've been throwing up and chitting all day yesterday and have a fever. It's the most wonderful time of the year.

From the description box.

1,5 months out of the all time record. 300kg/661lbs x4 RAW. At that day I understood that I was ready to bench for 1 rep quite a lot.
P.S. It was the heaviest weight I held in my hands during this preparation. b/w 167kg/368lbs.

Knee wraps got here today after finally getting around to ordering some. Picked up THPs and Max RPMs, figure girlfriend can use the ones I don't like (or more likely the other way around...)

I might depending on what happens with shoulder tomorrow.

Been doing all my rehab work for injury. Then today during workout felt a......pop. Not a bad one. It actually felt good. But not sure if it's like a scar tissue one or not. So I'll let the next couple days decide.
