Since the 500kg (strongman) deadlift and 500kg (IPF) squat both fell recently, I'll go ahead and say this kid will bench 500kg.

Question about your music Brahs - Not sure where else to put this.

I use my iphone6s to play mostly Prime Music dring my workouts b/c its easy to use and I don't want to pay a billion bucks for itunes music - well I film all my top working set sand you can't play music during this b/c the camera cancels out whatever music playign device you have working.

Does anyone have a inexpensive MP3/Music type player that they use that can download apps? Was trying to avoid the ipod touch. The Nano/shuffle won't let you use / download real apps.

THere are things like the Walkman something or other out there but they're 250 bucks. Was tempted just to use the cheap $50 fire tablet I bought (which i've been really impressed with) but then I have to carry that monster around.

Any suggestions? I can't be the only one running into this problem.

Use an old phone, should still work with wifi. I used to do that until it bricked itself. I have no idea how, but it did.

after 3 weeks using the SSB i cannot squat with a straight bar. da fuq is this?

so for me the SSB mimics a high bar squat more than a low bar. more forward knee travel and heavy quad dominate. SO now switching over to low bar straight bar, im squatting like i was with the SSB. therefore, im getting pitched the fuq forward and my hammies arent firing at all. Crashing into the hole like a mustang at a car meet. bar rolling up my back harder than an edm kid rolling at a festival.

its been 2 weeks of pure frustration. ty. dear diary.

at least my deadlift is feeling good.

The last time someone broke a world record by that much in the strength game was probably when Ed Coan totalled 2463 at 220. I think it was higher than any other total done at any bodyweight at the time. Can't imagine that happening ever again for a 220 lifter nowadays.

Yury Belkin totaled 2491 @ 230 at the super cup albeit in much more advanced equipment.

Belyaev also totaled 1,070kg (2,356lbs) under the 100kg weight class. not too far off 2,463. there are no unbeatable records. it's a matter of time.

Every gym I go to either has no AC or AC that doesn't work properly cause the building was built in a dumba$$ way. E.g. at the campus gym there's plenty of AC but they tried to be "eco friendly" and installed swamp (evaporative) coolers. Don't work at all when it's humid...like in a weight room. Fcuking dumb and my shirt is soaked with sweat by the time I start squatting the empty bar.

My garage doesn't have air conditioning. The humidity here in the summer usually puts the heat index/ real feel at 102-109 °F. It's 0700 and feels like 90°F right now.

Most gyms I go to don't have AC. The school gym I go to now is in a small basement with no AC and no ventilation. Just two giant fans blowing hot air across the room. I honestly like it when it's super hot and humid only when I'm training though.
