Its not so bad. You get to watch the loaders load crystal clear, and the lifter walk out to the bar, and then it freezes, then you see the lifter walking away from the bar

From what I'm hearing, it wasn't all depth issues. I think Joe couldn't come up with 1 attempt. Kevin Jager couldn't come up with at least 2 attempts. Bychkov timed out on 1 attempt. Lupac and Johannsson stumbled on 1 attempt each. And probably some depth calls too.

Blaine just couldn't get his hips through and lock out any of his deadlifts. Might have been because of the back issue and not being able to train since it was 335 and his best is 370 I believe. So Rokochiy was in 1st and Joe passed on his 2nd to save his energy to pull for the win on his 3rd. Got it to his knees then dropped it so ended up in 2nd.

Joe may have stood up with squat #1, or they may have taken it after he misgrooved bad, to me it looked like the latter but the stream was not clear. He definitely never got out of the hole on squat 2. The stream was bad but people said he was limping out to the bar? I think you are correct on the others for squat. Lupac's squat where he took a step back for was a thing of CYC level beauty up until the uneasiness at the top.

Do you know what happened on Sumner's 3rd pull? Same as the first two?

I think Joe has dealt with some injuries in the past and maybe they're still lingering. Maybe that's why he was off on squats and why he decided to pass on his 2nd deadlift.

On Blaine's 1st and 2nd pull, he tried sumo and got it to the thighs but couldn't lock out even though he was holding it and fighting it. On his 3rd he switched to conventional and got it to his thighs but as he was leaning back he lost his grip. I watched the 1st and 2nd attempt on IG live but I watched the 3rd attempt last night on the world games channel replay. Here's a screenshot I got during the replay.

I hate to make excuses for Blaine but on his channel he's been heavily focused on 1000 lb bench. Don't know but maybe that's played a part on how he approaches the deadlift.

IPF made a post that IWGA and IOC own the rights to the footage and IPF can't post anything until after the World Games are over. So gotta wait till at least Monday it seems like.

Yeah its frustrating because they didn't show every session but yet didn't allow official streams, but thats how it is at the Olympics too. Hard as hell to find more than a few highlights of weightlifting

At least we'll get it someday. I only got to see the 63-72s, heavy males and superheavy males. Really wanted to see the lighter people

Maybe I don't have good enough TV but every time I turned on the channel it was either
    - One of the 16 dozen varieties of swimming
    - Volleyball
    - The 100 meter final

I guess it doesn't matter too much. World Games only comes every 4 years and there'll be ways to watch it later. Sometimes its fun to see the results and be spoiled, and curious as to how it ended up that way

Next up aboard the hype train is Junior Worlds though! I think this will be one for the ages in all honesty

Failed on the last squat of the last set of 3x4@95% in the 13th week of Smolov.... All of my gainz are lost fam...

Any good tips for "lifter's elbow"? I am currently doing some forearm trigger work and super light high rep curls. I ran the full Smolov plan for bench and squat at the same time... My left elbow has checked out.

Whoa whoa whoa! Super simple, and it worked for me at least... I am sure there are "better" programs, but I liked the training cycle. I get bored with linear programs. I enjoyed running the base phase, but the intensity phase sucked. I am interested to see how the 1RM from Base compares to 1RM post Taper.

Lol, it's just with all the new fads nowadays (RPE's, belt squat, DUP, SBDs, donut socks etc.) it's such a throwback when I see the word smolov getting thrown around again. Most people I know (including myself) who ran smolov back in the days always ended up with nagging pain or injuries. Of course I'm generalizing here but Smolov has no place in a long term training plan.

Switch off low bar back squat to like SSB squat. And switch off full ROM bench press to like mid range pin press or 2 board bench.

Thank you for the tips Arian. Always on spread... When are you getting back into a suit again? Haven't seen any vids in a long time.

Did the 3 lifts the first time in gear.

Just used 100KG for squat and deadlift just to get the groove with a Titan centurion and god damn my head feels like it was about to burst.

Used a Titan Fury for bench and hit 150KG and it tocuhed my chest and went back up.. a bit of help though

I concluded squat and bench is not that different than RAW form/groove wise.. but Equipped Bench... that chit is crazy.

Oh and, legit super DOMS from squatting and deadlifting 100kg wtf.
