yeah but I try to pull significantly more, also I tolerate the dl volume a lot better than squat volume(which would be significantly lower then obviously), so it's not that much? I mean mine and your average volume per session would probably even out even though I'd be trying to total more

    Haha maybe.
They disguise the fee under the umbrella of t-shirt, banquet (how many weekday lifters are actually going to stay for the Saturday night dinner?), and drug testing costs but cotdamn is $150 still a lot of money. I'm lucky I only live 3+ hours away and may even do same day driving.

Anyone else have troubles with their slingshot? I've used my slingshot for maybe 10 - 15 sets overall and it's fraying where the right cuff attaches to the center band. I'm a little surprised as I've never heard a bad word about Mark Bell's products - wondering if I should send request a replacement. There's no impact now, but I don't want it to fall apart in 2 months.

can't say for sure. just in that upper pec/clavicle/trap area, when i do a band pull apart or push away from the body in that kinda motion it just feels weird. It probably just needs some time off which I'll be doing soon.

Long pauses helped me a lot. Learning to descend faster and under control helped too. I used to be stupid slow off my chest and those 2 things helped me more than any band work or specific exercise really did

For the record, I don't care about calibrated plates on PLwatch all-time records. I actually argued at length against them. It's a stupid requirement to be nitpicky about when you're comparing 48 hour weigh ins with 2 hour weigh ins. We are, after all, merely talking about a list on a website that looks like it was made in 1998 on Geocities. No reason to get all earnest over it.

Just interesting that it's mentioned on PLWatch as a new record when they made such a big deal re: calibrated plates.

Heads up for anyone in the market for Adipowers...depending on the size/color you can get them cheap on Amazon. They seem to go as low as $129, plus you can take an extra 20% off with their FALL20OFF promo code. I had a gift card on top of that so $83 Adipowers ftw.

Perfect! I was just about to buy the powerlift 2.0 as the adipowers were to much to spend without ever trying a raised heel shoe. Just ordered the adipowers.

    I'm not sure sorry.

I'm assuming Deadlift only or he would've posted his entire meet, unless he's saving that for later

i bought my slanger years ago before Mark bell was big when he had a small booth at the olympia and its worked for this whole time knock on wood. I asked at one point about the fraying and stitching and they said it wasnt anything to worry about and would stay in tact
