Kind of a lighthearted thread.
What do you listen to while working out?
Classic Rock ala ACDC?
Metal? Nu-Metal? RAP?
Depending on the type of music you listen to, Ive found patterns in some lifters, its weird.
But me personally, my CDs consist of nu-metal and European Power Metal.
Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Hammerfall, In Flames, Nightwish, Metallica, Disturbed, Mudvayne, Rob Zombie, Prodigy, Linkin Park, etc.
Need stuff thats loud and in your face, helps intensity.
How about you?

Personally I am a fan of gregorian chants. What makes one want to lift big more than monks jamming it out in a cathedral. As far as the duplicate thread thing goes. sure it is a common question, but there really wouldn't be TOO many posts on the board after a while if every question was answered just once. I am sure the question, and many others such as good leg day, or is this ok kind of questions will be posted for years to come. If one doesn't want to see repeat questions then just read the regular static internet resources and books. Technically about 90 percent or more of the questions ALL of us ask can be found somewhere on those.

When its said that this clutters up board space, it means that it just takes away space at the top for important questions.
As for music changing, if music changes so much, then how come its always the same bands mentioned over and over.
Try reading any other music thread and you'll see the same names listed over and over.
Once you've seen one music thread, you've seen them all.Don't Support Companies that are suing me!!

Bump again, so what if its been discussed before, music changes... No one made you read or respond to this thread modestmuscle.
For the record, I could care less about board space nor do I care about how many music threads there are. I was simply making a keen and very true observation. I have the right to post it.
Anyway, go back to listening to your Disturbed or Saliva or whatever the heck you call that stuff. I got news for you.....if whatever you're listening to doesn't fit into the catagory of "Classic Rock", then it's not real music.

You've been very opinionated in this thread so why dont you just stop posting here cuz everyone is going to disagree when you post a narrow minded comments. my $.02"Experiencing this pain in my muscles and aching and going on and on is my challenge. The last three or four reps is what makes the muscles grow. This area of pain divides a champion from someone who is not a champion. That's what most people lack, having the guts to go on and just say they'll go through the pain no matter what happens. I have no fear of fainting. I do squats until I fall over and pass out. So what? It's not going to kill me. I wake up five minutes later and I'm OK. A lot of other athletes are afraid of this. So they don't pass out. They don't go on."

btw, nothing pumps me up more than Beautiful People by Marylin Manson, ever since 8th grade when that song came out it just gives off a vibe of energy. The harder the Rock, the more the pump. Heavy ass drum and bass does the same thing though, if its in good taste.

I listen to whatever my gym is playing. Sometimes 50 cent or the latest **** or some of that new pop punk emo scene thing thats going on.
I come from a hard rock and metal background and I think it's ignorant to say that anything that isn't Classic Rock isnt real music. I used to same the thing about bands that are on MTV but now I appreciate all music because there's so much variety. Just my opinion, and I played guitar up until a few months ago so I know about Classic Rock since I used to play it. I love Zep and Jimi, but as I said, I think all music has its qualities.
Baby Bear, where in Croatia are you from? I was born in Zagreb.

Zombie Nation song remixed 10 times on a cd. Pop that in and put on repeat."Do not worry about whether you are going to live or die, just worry about whether you are living or dieing."
"Today is guaranteed, tommorrow is not."
"Even the quiet man appears wise."

This song sucks. It sounds like something you would hear in a gay bar, but whatever. I tend to listen to Chimaira, Lil Jon, Pastor Troy - Vise Versa, Seether - needles, soulfly - no hope=no fear or prophet, music of that nature. Anybody who knows of any new bands or albums that are hard rock or rap please do post them.
wtv wtv it has a good rythmShort-term Pain, Long term Gain.
