Oh he was? lol. Dont know but more I exponentially more shares spanning months. I haven't had so much conviction in a stock like I have in VRX. I would suggest that you make an investment
I'm starting to actually worry more about the TEVA/Allergan generics deal at this point. Government and regulations are going to destroy business in this country...Always striving to take it to the next level.

Good night sweet Peabody
“We have these — these talking heads who have gotten the vaccine and are telling other people not to get the vaccine,” Gov. Spencer Cox (R) said.
“That kind of stuff is just, it’s ridiculous. It’s dangerous, it’s damaging, and it’s killing people. I mean, it’s literally killing their supporters. And that makes no sense to me.”

Hey all, been a long time, Last you heard from me I had been offered a job in line with my dreams with the Dept of Defense. Im not a uniformed service member but my job directly supports the defense of our nation. Hopefully if I can get my fat@$$ into shape I can join the reserves and actually serve my country.
Daughter was born in Sep 15, and I was very fortunate to get transferred to the office closer to my home cutting my distance from a 20 hour drive to a 20 minute drive.
I made a terrible call in the stock CLF and kept averaging down, it finally caught up with me and lost about 4K in the stock. Been out of the market since with the exception of my 401K/TSP.
hope everyone else is doing well and I hope to be more active.
P.S. there was another IB user in here that used to use the chat room, anyone know what happened did IB shut down the chat room?

China dumping basic materials I would agree with. It only makes sense to do so.
China dumping PM, I don't see that happening any time soon. They have acquired boat loads of gold since 2009 and I believe they remain as the worlds #1 producer. Since their economy is in a slow down I don't see them tanking their more valuable reserve that they've been quietly acquiring for the past 7yrs.
Spot on, would not buy, even with your money! (that doesn't mean it can't make you rich, that just means that I see better risk:return in other assets.
Show me any stock that's not a gamble? Just like gambling there are different risk:reward opportunities available. I have a respect for anyone that gambles with sense and can put the risk:reward in their favor.
Congrats on the kiddo, boy or girl? We're expecting in 2mths!!
Sorry to hear about CLF, precisely why I tell most people not to DCA into a single asset but it's ok on a multi asset fund like SPY.
DrHunglow was an IB chatter if I recall and I've used it a few times. I haven't been on it since my day trading days of the VIX. Didn't even know they got rid of it.
WB bud, what are you planning on now for investments? My $0.02 is worth $0.03

Was a girl, I never thought something could change my life completely and my outlook, kind of dickish but negative news stories about things that had happened to a kid strike me in a totally different way now as they did before.
Now that I am finally settled, we have a house with a easy to manage mortgage, and I am making a liveable wage (my GS job practically doubled my salary of my old job) my first order of business is to pay down my debts, I have about 15K worth of non "good" debt I need to pay down. In the meantime I only had about $900 left in my IB account that has just been sitting in there. I opened a 50/50 spread on BadBarts spxl/TMF combo he used to talk about. I have looked at it from many angles and it seems most of the time it will be a win-win or very small loss. I am 100% S&P right now in my 401K.
good luck on the little one on the way, its quite an adventure, we have lucked out because our baby really does sleep through the night we have only had a handful of nights she woke up in the middle of it.

@barn the call spreads doe!
I also found it highly interesting that analysts are all saying hold/buy and have price targets at 40-110. It bothers the contrarian in me because analysts are usually wrong but I will stay the course.
It feels like it can't go much lower. Pseudo bad news has been coming out but it hasn't drove the price any lower. We will truly see what happens when executives are allowed to trade again and the shorts are allowed to do their thing again.337 crew

-baytex has been turning out well for me. tsx listing up 18% in 4 days and nyse listing up 23%.
- intertain group on the tsx is also continuing to perform.
- amaya has been floundering a bit but more and more it looks like the buyout will happen
- nyx has become a longer term hold unfortunately but it wasn't weighted that heavily in my portfolio thankfully. Prospects still look very good for them however. But it is now a 1 to 2 year hold for the dust to settle from their acquisition.Think you of the fact that a deaf person cannot hear. Then what deafness may we not all possess? ~ Dune
We need a new ideology with the core values of reason, honesty, science and secular progress over the older traditions of religion, superstition and dogmatic faith that have long defined humanity. We will never be free to progress and advance until the last stone from the last church is cast down onto the last priest. And every equivalent.

Of course analysts are going to say it's worth more. It's heavily discounted right now because you don't have the insiders and shorts playing in the game. There's a loss of premium in the multiple. So when they review the stock they have to go by a historical safe zone and that multiple is higher. They can only review what information is available so they have almost no choice to hold a higher valuation.
So with the info that's been released it looks like a good buy. The problem is with the info that hasn't been released. It's quite possible that Ackman will make some outrageous claims both good and bad in the coming months. He'll be using shell companies to trade stock and options. He'll exit the fund at recovery time and walk away richer in his pocket and write off a loss on that investment. My $0.02 is worth $0.03

How are people here running their spreads?
Seems like the yolo type of guys run debit spreads, aiming to make their money from the long call or put.
Personally I can't see past credit spreads, where you make your money from the decay of selling a put or call.
Where is Gab at? Probably chilling on Miami beach lol'ing at the plebs ITT

I think the real gains in FB are yet to come. When bots start playing to your every desire at that moment in time you are going to see how weak society really is and how disconnected people are from their money.
Oh I have enough numbers in my online bank account so therefore I can afford to buy this want of mine that the internet is recommending I purchase.
Retailers are already paying a premium for AI targeted advertisements, this is the evolution of that work and will hold a premium yet again. My $0.02 is worth $0.03
