Nice, I've also long TSLA pyramiding into it beginning at 147. I sold out around 236 before the model 3 roll out, then bought back in at 238. I've built a huge position don't have anymore margin to buy more, lol. The real test will be to see if it can breakout to new highs, I bought a lot of options hoping the IV will inflate before earnings and I'll sell right before earnings.

Jesus Bart are you nearly all in on tsla? Mirin' gains thus far and that sounds like a solid plan. When is their earnings announcement?

That is my collective2 portfolio, same as my personal trading account in percentage and holdings not size but tis close, lol. I plan on selling most of the TSLA, all my options and most of the stock before earnings. If earnings are good I'll start buying back in. I can't justify to myself gambling the gains on a earnings blow up.

Valeant Pharmaceuticals International Inc. on Wednesday secured a commitment from a majority of its loan holders to amend terms of its debt, according to a person familiar with the discussions.
The company and its bankers were able to convince more than half of the holders of its loans, by principal amount, to push back regulatory filing deadlines and loosen financial conditions on the loans.
Valeant agreed to pay a fee of $50,000 per $10 million of loans to lenders for the amendment and to boost interest rates on the debt by 1 percentage point, though the rate could decline if Valeant achieves certain financial metrics, the person said.
The company has been negotiating with the loan holders to avoid a technical default. Valeant announced last month that it might miss a deadline with lenders to file its annual report, or 10-K.Last edited by Gothwaite; 04-06-2016 at 01:48 PM.

I don't think they forget. I think they believe they know better and just don't bother doing any research or even basic reading lol
I posted a lim about tesla maybe 5 pages back. There is a comparison of a Jeep Grand Cherokee bs a tesla model (can't remember which one) but basically they make the claim, convincingly I might add that tesla causes more pollution - I took the numbers at face value so maybe I should take my own advice and do se research also

Well fuk prolly gonna have to buy in higher than I sold. I didn't expect them to settle it so fast. Why did they even have to pay the extra $? I thought they had until the end of April?
Lmao just read that after hours the stock moved another 6% up. fukfukfuk I can't imagine how high it is gonna gap up tomorrow. I might just buy in again in May 37.5 calls to save myself some money and figure the time should still be long enough.Last edited by woodbarry; 04-06-2016 at 08:16 PM.

Good day in VRX, I've been averaged in at 33 throughout the drop to 25. Going to hold this for the ride up (only 200 shares but would be nice to get the double in next couple months). Big reason for the drop from 70 was fear of default, that's over now. I see 60's in the next two months.

Lol you guys would be doing so much better in options. sure those of you who own the stock have probably gotten like 20% gains. I bought options and despite $10 fees both ways I still made about 50% on my money(8% fees)
Also I think I am going to go with deeper OTM calls for maximum risk/reward337 crew

Welcome aboard the Valeant express with us. Been long for a while now. Glad to get everyone on board.
Exchange rates I believe and accessibility
It was a matter of paying a 1 time upfront fee to get reasonable interest rates. Seems like Valeant wanted fee +0.5% increase to the interest, and the lenders wanted 1.5%+. Honestly, the 1% increase they settled on isn't all that bad. If Valeant recovers faster and meets certain financial milestones they will reduce the interest. No way those loan funds, who own VRX CLO's would ever let them default.
Strongly considering buying more shares on margin, but that would just be irresponsible at this point..Always striving to take it to the next level.

Youre right. There's dozens types of options. I should've specified my statement to calls, because that's all I touch for now.
If you mean something else please let me know, I'm in this to make some money if possible, but ultimately learn. I've only been doing options for a few months now
