In Layne's Physique Science Radio podcast #22, he noted his 5 or 6 top supplements.
It included: 5g creatine mono, whey protein, citrulline malate at 6g pre-workout, betaine at 2.5g/day IIRC, and BCAA's between meals.Gym Lifts / Competition Lifts (Raw, kg)

thanks Bob. small correction, it will have 3g of creatine monohydrate (should be sufficient for most people, though it may take a few days/week longer to saturate for those who aren't loading).
Also the pre will have 450mg of cocoa powder which to the best of my knowledge is the only ingredient I've ever seen that can increase blood flow in HEALTHY individuals. So should be a multi-phase attack: increase cognitive function, improved performance, and increased blood flow. Additionally, it's not completely stim free as there is 27mg of caffiene as a byproduct of the cocoa extract, but that amount of caffiene is so tiny even people very sensitive to it are unlikely to notice negative effects.
I appreciate everyone's interest.

Interesting. Am I reading this study wrong, or does it say that pomegranate extract can also increase blood flow in healthy, and highly active, individuals:
In conclusion, ingestion of PE in close proximity to an exercise bout led to enhanced vessel diameter, blood flow, and delayed fatigue in highly active participants. These effects are likely attributed to PE’s high nitrate and polyphenol content, which have been shown to increase nitric oxide production and enhance exercise efficiency.

I will definitely check out the Pre and pick a tub up when it comes out. I'll support Layne the best I possibly can because he's always been a great guy (to me personally) and has been around the industry for a very long time.
And like he said, nothing better to back your claims than science. Best of luck!

The main reason some people claim Layne uses is they point to how great of shape he gets when prepping for a contest and retains his strength.
I merely point to Alberto Nunez when it comes to getting shredded naturally.Krispy Kreme Krew Forever.
