You likely won't get much agreement that the items you listed are the "best equipment" for a home gym. Not with names like Marcy and Golds. If you are trying to simply build a basic framework that will get you by until you can get the good stuff, that's something different altogether. Might want to consider changing the title of your post.

Yeah the Golds and Marcy was free. I can tell you that it is holding up when benching over 315#. I will upgrade later as I find the right deals. This is not more of a what is the best brand as much as what other equipment should be next?

Makes sense. Maybe include that in your description...."What should I buy to fill in gaps and round out my home gym capabilities?". Good luck!

It all depends on what you are training for.

What you have, plus using the crap out of it = pretty good recipe for growth and strength gains.

I would focus on getting better, not more, equipment. As ctgblue pointed out, you have everything that you need. If it were up to me, I'd pursue swapping out residential for commercial pieces rather than simply adding more.

I only see upgrades as necessary, if you are pressing 315 you aren't exactly weak, I'm assuming, in the other lifts so I'd take the upgrade path seriously. That said for the basics you have more than what you need.

Good rack, bench, bar. Focus on improvement and diet. What matters most is:
Squat/Dead or pulling from the floor
    Bench/Row
    Overhead press/pull up

Success in those areas will trump all else. Throw in some arm work, shoulder pre-hab, ab/lower back...nothing else.

A few thoughts would be platform/mats and I happen to like good rowers for the versatility of duration vs. mega intense intervals and sprints. No other piece comes close (and rower trumps all commercial equipment for price) but you can get similar with impact by running outside (sprints/intervals/duration).

You need a decent bench assuming that MAC squat rack is actually a power cage and not a "squat rack" like you find in a commercial gym.

I can guarantee that Marcy bench or that Golds whichever you bench on is holding you back. Sure 315 sounds good but you could actually be doing 350+ with a solid bench so the cheap crap is holding you back

I had planned on a lifting platform with horse stall mats for the padding. I do plan on getting a better bench in the future and using this one as a utility bench for flies. It is not the best I get that, but it works for the short term. I have to build a platform for dead lifts due to the weight I work out with. I can not chance dropping it. I am currently doing dead lifts outside for the short term. The squat rack / power cage is sound. I work out with 405# on squats with no issue. It did great Sunday when I pushed 495# on the squats. I was looking at adding a sled, calf machine, leg extension machine, leg curl machine, preacher curl station, or a cable fly machine next. This is with upgrading the bench.
I lift to beat AS and not let it beat me.
