He looks horrible for 14. Meanwhile the 14 year old chads in his class look 25.

If they locked him in a room & didn't have a lawyer or responsible adult present then that would surely be grounds for a lawsuit, also very worrying is the school principle being alleged to coerce him into signing a statement saying it was a bomb or attempt at a bomb, he should lose his job if that is the case.

They also questioned him (a minor) without his parents being around and also threatened him into writing a letter or be expelled. They ****ed up big time. 'Murica at it's finest.
Damn kid is a little engineer, building and designing things out of pure fascination and joy. Even wearing a Nasa shirt.
Thing is he took it out of his bag and showed the teacher. Only an idiot would think a digital clock with a board is a bomb. How the **** can you make a bomb with no explosives????

It's sad to see this. I'm an electrical/HVAC software engineer so seeing young people take a genuine interest in things like this is awesome. Any kid could be traumatized by this and decide to go a different route. Now through in the fact that he is probably reading all of these comments calling him a terrorist and other things, that's just the extra little kick to potentially make him go into severe depression.
I really do get the safety concern (english teachers are retards and I guess I could see why they think a clock is a bomb.) Where they ****ed up is the shackles, the questioning without his parents, the forced and threatened written statement, and also still considering charging him with making a fake bomb.
