    reps for quality trainers/running shoes

so my nike frees just ripped after a game of basketball today. i know they arent made for basketball but theyre the only athletic shoes i have atm. its been a good 2 years but right now i need new ones just for training, running, etc.

reps for whoever suggests a quality shoe
and posts a site where its sold for relatively cheap.

    Thumbs up

I coach track and these shoes have been great.

They've held up for two seasons and I wear them to the gym on top of it.

They have a low drop and fit snug in the heel.

I don't know how often you run, but I would wear them for 11/200/400m practice a few times a week with my kids and the gym.

I love this Asics model. I have the ladies version but the GelExcel is by far the best running shoe i've found to date. I own two pairs myself.

never had experience with NB and havent heard much from it. might check it out but that pricetag +reviews combination is unattractive.

I never liked running in Nikes. My favorites were souconys (I think that's how you spell it) that I bought in the Army. I also like Asics and New Balance.

Sure, I've been called a xenophobe, but the truth is, I'm not. I honestly just feel that America is the best country and the other countries aren't as good. That used to be called patriotism.
