A little behind but better late than never
My Jets won. Johnny Foosball gave us fans a little scare when he came out and threw that strike to Benjamin, but they bottled him up for the rest of the game forcing 5 turnovers. That Brandon Marshall strip after the INT was a thing of beauty. Good start to the season.
@Domi's Chiefs came out on fire and took their foot off the throttle so the Hard Knock Kids of Houston weren't too embarrassed. JJ Watt is still a beast.
Suh with a helmet kick? No league discipline, I guess he worked through the offseason on becoming more subtle with his cheap shots. Lol.
Rex Ryan and the Bills did what I thought they would. Their D is stifling and the Bills shut down Luck and the Colts. Some are shocked, as a Jets fan who saw Rex front and center - this was expected.
Marriott showed Jameis what a real QB performs like. Wow. Great debut by the Oregon product, and bad start by the FSU QB who has been compared to Peyton more times than I care for. This one surprised me.
A moment to laugh at Coughlin and Eli for that horrendous play call and execution on 3rd down with 1:40 left. RUN THE BALL, OR AT LEAST SLIDE TAKE THE SACK!!! You gotta let the clock run so Dallas doesn't have 90 seconds to go the length of the field rather than 50-60 seconds. Also, RIP Dez Bryant's foot.
Lots of more to talk about but I gotta do some work today before I leave early. Got free tickets from the boss to see the Niners play the Vikings for MNF.
Beer will be filling my carb macros for the day.

IN!
My favorite celebration of the day right there.
Although the Bears lost, they look like a completely different team. After yesterday's game I am a little more optimistic for this season than I was previously. We didn't get our asses handed to us by a Superbowl favorite like everyone thought we would. We had a few chances in the game. Need to convert drives to TDs instead of FGs.
I expected a lot more out of the Denver/Baltimore game. What a defensive game that was.
I was happy to see Mariota do well while watching Winston struggle. As a ND fan, I dislike Winston :P
There were a couple dirty plays that caught my eye:
Suh's helmet kick, although I admit it looked like it could have, possibly, maybe been an accident...?
Adam Jones ripping off Amari Cooper's helmet and pushing his head into it.
Looking forward to the MNF games even though I'll be at the gym during the majority of the 1st one. Have a good time, klax! NFL games are always fun.
Looks like I'll be going 1/3 in fantasy this week.★Subaru WRX/STi Crew★

in!
go Chefs!
happy to see peyton struggle. wouldn't LOVE to see Houston rattle him up on thursday.
speaking of which i HATE regular Thursday games. the games are almost always blow outs because players and teams don't have time to recover. also we get hosed b/c we lose a home game to London this year.
anyhow. go football.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

Didn't even see that. That's amazing.
Didn't know you were a Bears fan. Good stuff.
And thanks for Brandon Marshall.
Snoozefest. Manning looks like a shell of his former self. Not good. I love watching Manning play.
The Pacman one was BS. I'm surprised how composed Amari is. He didn't even care.
Thanks, will do. Go get your gains.
Eh, it's only 1 week.
I'm on pace to go 1 for 2. Although my fan duel this week might make me some $$$. I have Bradford and Julio + Matt Bryant left to go today, and I'm already in the money for $40. Did the $25 buy-in for the $1M Sunday League. I'm at 98 points. If I can get to 170 between these three, i could be in for some serious loot (1K or more)Snapchat/Instagram: Mimsthe3rd

Peyton is easily one of the best QBs in a long time but he's also very overrated. i felt this before he become a Bronco. his organization did a great job building a team around him and supporting him, as they should. but he also plays in a weak division and always struggled in the playoffs. whenever games got tight, even towards the end of the season, he's make a few key big mistakes that'd cost him the game.
again: he IS hof worthy, he IS one of the elite qbs, and he deserves praise, but he's also very overrated.
Both are about money, both aren't that great for the game. I don't like them, but whatever.
Antonio Brown is one of my keepers...so ****ing money. they need to keep throwing him the rock.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

i feel like monday night has been getting a little bit hosed lately too with bad matchups. Sunday night seems to be the best atm. especially because they get to flex good games into that time slot a few times a year.
although even still, who was expecting the niners/vikings to be a good game? and philly/falcons? really? even on paper leading into the season those two looks like snooze fests.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

I tried to get my boss to get some pics of them - he works on the field and was practically next to them. He didn't have it in him to blatantly point his phone at them and snap away. Instead I had to hear it from him this AM about how thin their "cat-woman" outfits were. And of course the talk about their cleavage.
I thought the outfits were leather, he said they were not. Curious on how he knows this. Hmmmmm....
I go to one Niners game a year. I enjoy football on TV more and since I'm not a Niners fan I'm not in love with the idea of attending games. It's convenient now that the stadium is only about 15 minutes from home.
I have dibs on the Jets vs Niners next year. I'll be stoked to watch that one.Snapchat/Instagram: Mimsthe3rd

man i used to go to a game a year, but i'm always working and i rarely get invited by my friends who have extra tickets to give (no hard feelings, it's their money they're spending and i'm never offended if i don't get invited). down the line, i see season tickets in my life, but then again i ALSO enjoy tv football a lot.

so he had 13 touches all game. 10 rushes and 3 receptions. and the announcers were trying to say how they liked Norv Turner on offense?
i'm sorry but Adrian Peterson should be getting the ball MINIMUM 20 touches a game, and that's because the game's won and his backup is bleeding clock. he's the type of back who's big and tough and hurts the defense for hitting him. by the end of the game they're sick of getting hit by him and that's when you see the monster plays: it's because they've lost the will to hit and he's freakishly athletic.
if he's got 25 carries for 50 yards, then you can say the defense did their job and stuffed him all day, but you don't not give him the ball...Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House
