if I got drunk everyday for 2 weeks straight, yet I still kept to my calorie limits keeping protein maximized, sufficient fat intake and eating around maintenance calories; all the while performing intense training 5-7 days a week - do you think my body composition would change?
I know alcohol doesn't effect the body too much, I get drunk every so often and it hasn't effected me negatively, but out of interest if I did it every day of 1-2 weeks, what would happen, provided variables above are kept constant?

Besides likely developing alcoholism and being very detrimental to health? Likely you would not be performing your best in the gym, so body comp would suffer from that alone... Also this is possibly the stupidest excuse to go on a beer binge this week (that I have seen).
Short cuts to success are often paved with lies.

no "excuse". I have 1-2 weeks of freshers coming up (inb4 age), and likely I'm going to go out and party every day of the week and even longer.
I have no problem with workouts the day after, I rarely ever get a hangover as long as I get sufficient water when I sober up. and I won't be drinking beer, I can't stand it. spirits only

I'm worried about you OP.
Technically if you're within your caloric limit and hitting your minimums of P/F, it shouldn't affect your body composition.

If your metabolism is ramped up enough you could eat twinkies everyday for two weeks and have little to no effect on your composition. Only partially true. haha
So I've actually experimented with this in a sense. Not with alcohol but with food in general. I was in California for a part of my cut and had to do flexible dieting. It sucked ass. I was forced to eat things that were not within my guidelines because there was literally no way to be prepared. I was a convention center for 4 days and it would have been impossible to bring in a cooler bag there. So I ate what I could that seemed reasonable. When I came back in town (I believe it was 9 days total I was gone) I dropped 6lbs. LOL. That was after a day back on my strict dieting plan.
So the body is a very fascinating thing. Will you become an alcoholic from drinking for 2 weeks straight? No, I highly doubt that. Every college aged kid in the world would be an alcoholic at this point then. Could you be damaging your liver/kidneys and other organ systems? Potentially, but you can also fight it by taking care of yourself.
What I'm saying is, do it if you want and don't worry about it. You're 23 and as long as you're smart (mean don't give yourself alcohol poisoning), you should be totally fine.
I drank for 10 years and don't touch the stuff now, but I didn't do it for fun. So yea, be safe dude but also enjoy your down time."Pain is weakness leaving the body"

From an energy balance standpoint, you'll have a hard time keeping the above variables constant, given the fact that you probably won't be able to track your calorie intake from alcohol very accurately, nor will you be able to track your energy expenditure accurately (which will change due to ethanol-induced thermogenesis). Combine the resulting shift in energy balance (to either a hypo or hyper-caloric state) with the hormonal effects that the alcohol will have (that will affect things like fluid balance, for example), with the effect of alcohol on vitamin depletion and nutrient absorption, and yes, you'll see a change. Nothing that won't be reversible relatively quickly, though.

i've gone to college and done some stupid **** (though not as stupid as you, it sounds like) but don't try and excuse it or make it sound like it's not a bad idea.

thought I'd update this
made it 2 weeks straight of drinking every night, pretty much kept to vodka only, and a ton of it. most likely minimum 35cl (37.5%) every night + more random shots/drinks at club. I also did a pretty big amount of party drugs aswell
I ate 3k calories of good food, and left 1000 calories of alcohol (4k is my maintence). I lifted/done cardio everyday aswell. I definitely lost strength/endurance and couldn't push myself as much, but I did decent amount of volume and went hard with cardio/HIIT.
I stayed pretty much the same weight give or take a few lbs. still sub 10% bodyfat. I just look a little "flatter", but nothing water and carbs won't cure. I am definitely ill and have what's known as "fresher's flu" with a cough and cold, but that was obvious.
Now on a massive detox, and gunna get back on track. but I thought this was an interesting experiment anyway to see if it would effect body composition.

It will have a positive effect in the sense that vodka is pretty thermogenic, and it will dry your physique out.
Realistically no harmful effects will happen. You will urinate frequently, be fatigued, lose your endurance, gym workouts become hell after a day of drinking or a night of being wasted. Which indirectly cause to loss of strength/loss of muscle. Definitely the main concern is gym performance
Drink AFTER your workouts and then after a big night out have a rest day, enjoy yourselves!

haha alcoholism requires genetic predisposition. I have had alkie friends and family members so I have seen it first hand. If I were to drink too much multiple days in a row, I want nothing to do with it for a while and the thought of it makes me sick. Someone predisposed to alcoholism will still want it.
