Why are some people saying that Kai isn't doing the Olympia ?

Evidence so far:

1. Credible sources like Guy Cisternino and Peter McGough are saying he's out.

2. He isn't mentioned anywhere in Flex's Olympia preview (and their poster of the Olympia lineup has a glaring empty spot, as if a figure was hastily photoshopped out)



3. None of Kai's social media accounts make any mention of the Olympia.

There is a thread about this over at MD.com. So far he has yet to sign the form to compete. Not sure what the time line is for that but I imagine it would be soon? Also I think he has done this in the past?

Whether Kai is doing the Olympia or not is interesting. However, my first thought was who is Phil's agent and why didnt Phil karate chop him/ her when Kai got the NFL commercial?

Interesting, from recent pics iv seen Kais been looking pretty good, im pretty sure he'll end up on the stage and get what he deservers ( victory ofc ) why else he'd look so lean and cut right now?

The Arnold classic is fast becoming the premier event, the Olympia judges have done so much damage that the Olympia is not taken seriously by a large proportion of fans, its more of a WWF style show where the winner is pre determined. The Olympia does not really need judges, a board of directors could equally do the job.

If Kai really does skip this Olympia I wonder if he will enter the AC where the judging is higher quality?

I can't even say I have much faith in the AC judging either. We've all seen some pretty gnarly gifting going on there over the years. Branch first place in 2012 is the first thing that comes to mind.

Actually if you think about it, he has been ****ed over so many times, well two IMHO (2012 and 2014).

Plus the fact that he didn't even score a single point against Phil in prejudging last year when Phil was largely off and Kai was on (even the biggest Kai haters can attest to this) made the IFBB OLYMPIA look like a total joke. Like someone said WWE style BS.

We all know Phil will win no matter what he or the other competitors look like.

Other big names (DLB), Steve Cook and I think another physique guy are also out. I know it's not bb but it is the equivalent to Kai pulling out for their division/category.

Maybe the OLYMPIA is seriously losing its cred and lustre.

I wouldn't be pissed if Kai didn't do the O, as much as I would like to see him, I can understand if he's had enough with the politics and BS.

He could look so great as of late due to the ad(s) he is doing with the NFL and ESPN. Like a photoshoot which is almost always taken just around a contest prep so the bb's look their best, such could be the case for Kai for his projects with those two organizations.

I also would be on board to making the Arnold the top show...at least Arnold took a stand to the pregnant, alien belly, turtle shells and spoke up for change.

Well I would be sad if he doesn't do the O, but I can't blame him either. It's odd though given the recent pictures and how lean he is that he would skip out. He's been the people's champ since 2012 and only fuels the fire against IFBB judging when he competes at the O now so I'd watch just for the show.

chill out nancy, it's not disrespectful to his fans if he's doing it for the sake of getting an edge on his opponent, (which is speculation to begin with)

Now I'm a huge fan of kai and have been for a long time, I could care less if he's not responding on social media, who says he has to?

And if he doesn't do the olympia I actually would care less, he's been screwed with the points so many times that I honestly wouldn't blame the guy, the shiit is fixed from the get go.

If he didn`t do it I would be sad but I would completely understand.
Olympia Judging is a joke and alot more people became aware of it last year.

I hope he makes alot of money, he deserves it & is definitely the peoples champ.

Wouldnt be surprised if the olympia contract screws you, so he is withholding signing it until the last minute.
Maybe he couldn't be doing the nfl thing if he had already signed or maybe he is limited on what media he is allowed to release/self promote.
Of course if he came out to say this then the olympia organizers would probably react somehow.

Highly doubt that, the whole situation is bigger than Kais supp line, why would magazines/media ditch the fan favorite and most lucrative bodybuilder in the industry? Kai is smarter than that and wouldn't let a greedy agent destroy his launch, barring him from the biggest event of the year. The Olympia NEEDS Kai more than they need him, and he knows it

Even if he didn't want to compete there's no reason not to.. he's basically guaranteed 2nd place. Anyone could use a free extra 100k. Kais agents ****ed him over for sure

Not true. The sport of bodybuilding is bigger than any one person. Kai needs bodybuilding more than bodybuilding needs him. He's a bodybuilder, and anything he ever achieves will be because of that fact.

I hope this isn't true, because if so, PJ Braun and Aaron Singerman are about to sabotage Kai's career.
