I don't think it blocks tinypic explicitly, but it does block sites which don't (or can't) use SSL.
When you specify an image URL which uses the http protocol, this site (bb.bcom) will instead attempt to fetch the image using https instead. If that doesn't work, then no image is displayed.
When you use tinyurl as a redirect, either http or https will work to get to the tinyurl site. Once that initial communication is established (using https), things are okay with bb.com; it'll take an http redirect without complaining.

Below are a couple of pics of me rappelling yesterday. We started with an easy rappel down a 45 foot slab. The second (shown here) and third rappels were perhaps 70 feet in length in which the last 20 feet or so were free (i.e. no rock for your feet to push against).
My wife came along and took these photos. She did the first rappel to demonstrate technique and to also provide a belay from the bottom.
The (other) people in the second photo are Bill and Sandra. Bill was a climber from well before my time. He had done some rappelling, but it always involved wrapping the rope around one's body to get down. (Google "dulfersitz" if you're interested in learning about it.) Bill wanted to learn how to rappel using modern equipment. Sandra is a friend who, after seeing my photos of Minnow Canyon, asked to be invited along on future adventures of that sort. I figured it would be good for her to first do some easy rappels.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #35

So, haven't been lifting, we've been way too busy and exhausted.
But...the uprights/two sides of my RML-490 near their future location. That space is at least 10 feet wide (don't remember), ceilings are 12 feet. In the garage I have
*7 sheets 23/32 pine plywood
*1 sheet same ^ cut in half (two 4x4)
*1 sheet premium 3/4 Maple plywood cut lengthwise to result in 8'x3'6"
*1 sheet same ^ cut in half (two 4x4)
Current plan is the typical 8x8 platform of two base layers regular plywood topped with the 3'6" wide maple and TSC horse mats cut to fit the sides...then an equal height buildup of two layers regular plywood top layer premium maple inside the rack...rack bolted to concrete.
Inside dimensions of rack are supposed to be 49"x49" so the 4'x4' half pieces of plywood should be perfect in there
ALL of my plates are still in the garage too. It's 20 steps down to the basement, and on the other side of the house lol

I should have measured before taking it down of course.
Website image with dimensions is stupid and ambiguous
https://www.roguefitness.com/rogue-rml-490-power-rack
But specs say
"With just a 53” x 53” standard footprint"
Is that counting the feet that extend out past the uprights?
I'm sure it is, and I didn't think of that when I was Googling it in Home Depot.

T-giving Training Center Pics
Took advantage of the downtime to walk through the training center yesterday. Things continue to progress very well.
Base layer on the parking lot was put down a couple of weeks ago. Roof trusses over the 2nd floor went up last week. Main entrance is on the right corner.
Teaching pool should get shockcrete this week.
Training pool is still a big hole in the ground. This is the view from the teaching pool.
Training pool looking back towards the teaching pool and 2nd floor.
Here's the view of the training pool from the 2nd floor balcony.

2nd floor. Balcony overlooking the training pool on the left (6' wide), strength room in the middle (from the balcony on the left to just past the support posts on the right), PT office to the right of the posts. Coaches office and conference room in the far right corner.
View from the coaches office (kinda jealous...)
Patio just outside large doors by the training pool. HVAC to be installed on the beams that have been set.

You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

Awesome pics and really inspiring and would love to have the opportunity to do that stuff. I've rappelled during some team bonding/firefighter training (I'm not a firefighter, too much of a sissy, it was a corporate event that was really cool) and think it is such a cool thing to do. Also done some belaying with my kids at planet rock but certainly not in such a cool, beautiful setting

tell that to my wife and her family, who are from Hong Kong where it's hot and humid and don't generally refrigerate leftovers. they'll usually recook the food before eating, but even that's not always. maybe it's different foods...very little dairy, or whatever, or the culture. i'm from the US and i work in a restaurant where we have to be extra careful about properly refrigerating ****.
my wife reminded me that she's never had a case of food poisoning in her life and rolls her eyes when i'm extra paranoid about putting the leftover mexican food that's covered in queso in the fridge.Domicron's Basement Gym and Fun House

It's been a crazy week or two here - just need to vent a little bit!
1) Our oldest dog (old - but only 10) had to have a tumor removed. She's recovering nicely and now it's just a "wait and see" if the tumor returns. Stupid animals always become like family. The expense for the surgery and tests were a bummer.
2) I'm one of the coaches on my sons 12u basketball team. We only had 8 players at practice over the holiday, so I filled in along with an older brother so we could play 5 on 5. It was a blast.......until I went up for a block on a fastbreak. My momentum carried me towards the baseline........where a random basketball was sitting on the court. I managed to land directly on top of it, rolling my ankle. Turns out that my ankle is sprained and I broke a bone. Ugh! It's my first injury in awhile and really puts a damper on working out. Free weights are almost impossible right now, but at least I have the Inspire FT1 so I can at least get some work in. Really no options for legs though. I'm in a walking boot which is actually a blessing - it allows me to remove it at night and to get cleaned up, I can take it off to drive, and I can walk halfway decent without crutches. So at least 4 weeks in a boot, and then another 4 weeks of recovery after that.
3) My boss accepted a postion at another company, so I'm stepping into his shoes at least on an interim basis. Still working out the details, but it would be a big promotion if I can get the job permanently. And here I am in a walking boot. But at least I can wear dress pants!
So it's been a whirlwind lately. The walking boot is a big inconvenience right now, but at least I can go without crutches at times and carry my own food and drinks! It was so frustrating over the weekend when all I had were crutches. I was totally useless to do anything - really a bad feeling.STAND TALL AND SHAKE THE HEAVENS!!

Those are fast little boogers! haha
The story of my injury gets better as the days go by. The last parent that I talked to said I they were told I went up for a block, lost my balance and had to grab onto the rim to try and control my fall. I figure in the next week or two the story will be that I did a 360 dunk and came down off balance.STAND TALL AND SHAKE THE HEAVENS!!

I was fortunate to have "story time" today with the crew installing my mirrors / shower doors.
Two guys showed up: the owner & a helper (older gentleman). The older guy, who said he was 62, had a daughter who was involved in powerlifting. He believes that she does steroids, but is only guessing because of hose she looks. He also claims she has multiple world records. I ask about what fed & he had no idea. I asked if it was in Raw, Equipped or an unlimited equipped fed. He just looked at me with a blank stare. He then proceeded to tell me that she has benched 245x10 and squatted 405x20. All this at 75kg/165lb, RAW. He then proceeded that she's not even top 10 in the world because her bench is only "12th best in the world." I can't make this up. I just smiled & nodded, lol.
I think he brought it up because I was wearing a shirt that say "PUMP: Make America Lift Again". The conversation only got more and more strange from there...
The characters in the construction business that I've run into are totally crazy, lol. The longer you talk to these guys, you realize just how deep the rabbit hole goes. It's not a good place to be!
Damn dude, I'm sorry to hear that. I know exactly how all of what you're saying is. It's just one thing after another! Hopefully the promotion works out!Crews: Ivanko Barbell Crew #52, York Barbell Club #95, Equipment Crew #59

Too late for advice now, but i would say you went about this the hard way. i would have built one side laying down. Then i would have installed the chinup bar and top crossmember on on of the sides, but at the bottom then tilted this up then I would have bolted the other two uprights to the far ends of the chinup and crossmembers. Once I had a standing structure which cant help but not be splayed, I would walk it to it's home and bolt it down. Lastly i would relocate the chinup and top crossmember individually to the top.
I would have probably bought a taller rack if I was you. I can not OHP in a 90" rack, but I could if it was 108". That is some great ceiling height you have to work with.Clive, you're a good guy. - AttyGuy

Well, in my last location, where this rack lived for 1 year, I could touch my forehead to the ceiling at the top of a chin-up.
I was much more concerned with the standing structure not falling than not splaying (actually wasn't worried at all about splaying, just falling over). It wasn't hard to attach a chin bar to the completed side once it was up, bring the other completed side over, and attach it to the bar. Then I had a standing structure that couldn't help but stay standing. Either way it seems the way to go is build the sides (I moved the sides from the old house assembled as seen in the first pic), then put each side up and attach them to each other with a chin bar or crossbar at which point you are pretty much good to go
It is a great ceiling height I have to work with now lol. Last was like 8'4" I think, this is 12'. I will just continue to OHP outside the rack, only now I won't have plates hanging off pegs on the corners that might get in the way if I drop the bar...
BTW there's no 'walking' a 360+ pound 4 foot square footprint rack anywhere lol, not for me
