Can you see the photo of the car?

If not, please provide details regarding OS and browser...

I think that these problems are related. When (using Chrome on Linux) I right click on the broken image in SyntheticKiller's post and then select "Open image in new tab", the new tab displays a message "Your connection is not private" and then later on shows that the error is NET::ERR_CERT_COMMON_NAME_INVALID. This is somewhat different than the SEC_ERROR_UNKNOWN_ISSUER error that RestoringTally reported, but the net effect is the same: the browser prevents the user from proceeding further into the site, in this case to fetch the bytes associated with the image.

FWIW, when I look at the security details for the image of the car (using https), I see that the certificate was issued by GeoTrust Inc. I'm able to see this information using both Chrome on Linux and Firefox on Windows. It may also work for me with other browsers, but I haven't checked the other ones yet.

For the photos linked from my site, it's not clear where the problem is. Is it a bug in the browser? Or a problem with the site certificate?

    I just ruin everything.
    Thanks for the help KBKB.

    Edit:

Since I'm making a post. I have exterior shutters (roll down & manual close) installed. The company messed up one shutter. I have to call them & see how willing they are to work with me. The contract is a cluster & so many things are wrong, it'll get interestingly very quickly.

The drywall & finishing is done. I am waiting on trim (comes Monday). That's all next week, then paint is another week. Finally, getting closer.
I'll be getting rack quotes next week.

It's not so much which rack company as he is debating between all the heavy lifting stuff or just going with a Bowflex.
SK wants to get ripped without getting too big and the bowflex is the perfect thing for his goals.

You've caught me. I'm considering changing my gender to compete in female crossfit competitions. I'll be changing my name to WodKiller & finding a pair of booty shorts to rock.
The bowflex is too hardcore for me. 65 lb snatches are the future!

Can anyone recommend a flush mount led shop light that is dimmable?
I need 3, but need to dim these so I can bench without going blind.
    The ceiling is 9' high.

Does anyone have any first hand experience with these?

I assume you're looking for a full rack, but in case you're considering a half, Powerlift has a few nice used ones not listed on their site. Reasonably priced.

Hello Equipment Crew. I was showing someone pics of my gym from the site a couple of days ago and realized I hadn't dropped by in awhile. I see things are running swimmingly without me...sounds like home. Hope you're having a great summer and may all your flips be one sided.

I'll have to update pics of the gym in the near future. I put a bathroom in the basement and took out that wall that the original owners put in the middle of my gym. Haven't completed putting the gym back together, but soon.

Cleveland.... I tried to neg, but it said I'd negged too recently. Sorry.

looks like the top of that platform slides out and can fit on several different levels...

is it kind of small to be a plyo box? (i don't do plyo so i have no idea)

Haha, I saw that as well and wondered why there was a seat on an adjustable plyo box. Curious.

    Heh.

Just central AZ in the summer. It was in the high eighties when we started at 6 am and close to 100 when we finished a little over two hours later. High for the day was 115. I brought six liters of water with me again, but didn't even finish the first three liters. (There have been a few hikes where I drink everything I brought and wish that I had brought more.)

i've never experienced the high dessert heat whilst hiking (when i was young i hiked part of the Grand Canyon but during April when it was very manageable) but i don't mind the dry heat that much. a nice hat, light weight-long sleeve shirts to keep the sun off and i don't need to drink as much water as i expect.

    100 with humidity under 10% isn't a big deal.

However, add 10 degrees and make it 110+ and you can really feel it. I've lived here 50 years and 110+ days still suck.

Today was 113 with 13% humidity at the high.

When it's really hot here, I typically wear a shorts and a short sleeved shirt with sunscreen on exposed skin. I always wear a hat.

I've experimented with wearing long sleeves, but I find that they feel hotter to me than having some skin exposed where evaporation can happen almost immediately.

That said, sometimes long sleeves and long pants are really nice for hikes that have significant bushwhacking - even when it's hot. (The Sierra Designs Solar Wind Shirts are really nice for this. They're expensive, but work amazingly well when pushing through cat's claw bushes.)

With regard to water consumption, I drink regularly, even when I don't feel that I need it. I use a hydration reservoir - this makes it easy to drink without stopping.

There have been a few long hikes that I've done in cool weather where I thought that one 3L reservoir should be enough. But sometimes it's not - I've run out of water on a few hikes. These are usually hikes where I'm out almost all day and also involve significant elevation gain.

So, within the past year, I've started bringing two 3L reservoirs on some hikes. But on one hike in May, I ran out of the 6L that I brought with me. It was warm, I gained over 3,000 feet of elevation, and I was out for over 12 hours. (I was also wearing long sleeves and long pants, but managed to still get some fearsome scratches on my arms and legs.)

It's interesting hearing about all of this. I've only lived in an arid climate for 6 months.
Down here, 40% humidity is a "dry" day. I'll get up in the morning and the humidity is in the 90% range. On bad days, it's in the 70% range in the 90s. The heat index can reach 110+ on those days and a lot of people get sick. Sweating does nothing; you become soaked. Unless you have a wind on you, you drip all over the place. Despite my location, I don't get much of a wind here. That's odd since I'm so close to the Gulf. There's usually some wind, but it's nothing significant and more at tree level.

If you're trying to sweat salt out, it's amazing. I can guy a large combo at any fast food restaurant & sweat all of that salt out in an hour. On the worst days, I'll go through 2 gallons of water. What's amazing is that I can chug a liter & not have to pee. It ALL turns to sweat. I've noticed that when the weather turns mild, I can go forever without hydration. I've also noticed that I constantly crave water in arid climates because my body is used to constant moisture from the air. I'd feel like hell in AZ or die, lol, but I can stand around in the sun in jean pants & a long sleeve shirt & handle it, lol.

KBKB, how's the wind up there in the mountains? How about ground level?
