Poured the 2nd floor on the training center this week where the PT office and strength & conditioning room will be. Good view of the hole where the pool will be installed (which cleared customs this week).

Out through the doors at the far end of the pool is the patio in the 2nd pic (also poured this week).

It's cool seeing the progress pics of this facility. Looks like it's coming along quite nicely.

Thanks! Its definitely been progressing about as well as we could hope. Looking forward to the roof being finished to minimize schedule disruption due to the weather.

Starting to shift focus to launch plans, hiring, etc.

I'm not a commercial construction expert, so this may / may not make sense. But, what I was told is the the block used in the walls is sealed and the underground foundations are lined with Kingspan material (www.kingspan.com).

The metal roof over the pool has several layers of insulation and seal coats (in progress - see pic below from today). The roof over the 2nd floor (A-frame style) will get traditional insulation.

I have to work this weekend, all weekend. On the Thursday before my work weekend I always fuel up with a great meal with the family. Hot dog for the dog. He really likes hot dogs. Prime NY strip cooked on a medium big green egg. Dome open 2 min/ 2 min to sear. Then shut down to finish at 350. Medium can cool down pretty quickly. Gnocchi with pesto, new pesto that we didn’t care for.

Has anyone seen these attachments from sorinex? Seems like a cool concept to add index chin options to a rack. I don’t really care for rubber handles, but I suppose it wouldn’t be hateful.

These look really cool. Looks like it'd be easy to adjust both the angles and spacing. A very compact solution too.

I got this photo on Friday's Hike; it kind of has a nice postcard type of feel to it, I think...

I saw a tarantula while hiking earlier today:

Pretty sure everyone was scared off by the tarantula. Great photos as usual. This Saturday I do not have to work so we cooked. Double cut lamb chops from a rack on the big green egg with one big apple wood chunk, roasted broc**** with prosciutto, onions because the wife thought we were eating steaks, and a potato with Parmesan, bread crumbs, lemon, and I’m not sure what else. Hot dog for the dog of course. Wine is 2007 CDP.

I was surprised a cheap bar didn't bend permanently at a much lower weight.

    KBKB,

Have you been to the Granite Mountain Hotshot Memorial?

    https://azstateparks.com/hotshots/

One of the guys in the office took his son to see the new movie Only the Brave and then went to Yarnell and hiked the memorial trail on Saturday.

    Not yet.

I hiked with someone on Friday who did that hike two days earlier. She recommended getting there early as the parking lot is kind of small.

Guy in the office said that parking in the lot at the trailhead is limited to 10 minutes.

For the hike you park at a church in town about 3 miles away and there is a shuttle to and from the trailhead. He said there were two shuttles running on Saturday.

I imagine the trail is going to be packed with the movie just coming out.

Controller telling Granite Mountain Hotshot to stop yelling into the radio. :-(

I'm trying to see things from your point of view, but I just can't get my head that far up your a$$.

A recent survey found that 1 in 3 women are just as stupid as the other 2.

You need a rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?
