I'm trying to round out my roundhead collection, and keeping my eyes open for a leg press that'll fit in the basement (might just bite the bullet and order a Powertec since everyone seems to like theirs).

Sounds intentional, like the forum days are numbered. Remove all the mods, let the forum fill up with spam so nobody posts, then it's an easier decision to deactivate when the site has zero traffic. Personally I can't be too upset with them, haven't spent money on BB.com in years. Last thing I bought was shirts and that was probably a good 6-8 years ago.

As a business I believe BB.com is in meltdown, I don't personally buy anything from them, but I received an email from them at the end of last year informing me that they were no longer supplying anyone outside of the US and Canada, I'm in the UK, next day I get another email informing that they had decided to continue supplying the UK and Australia, hardly best business practice.

I suggest BB.com are at present rudderless, but I still find it strange that the Mods were stripped of their admin powers on this forum in particular, whereas other forums on the site are still being moderated.

I appreciate the kind words of support. When it comes to the forum, I agree with some of the regulars and I'm of the same mentality...I don't have any intention of jumping to other forums, nor jumping to any social media platforms (I've already established plenty of years of postings of my home gym, additions and reviews on here as well as reading and seeing others progress, insight/reviews and updates/upgrades to their home gyms and reading up on a wealth of knowledge on here whether it be through recent posts, or archival posts from searching them).

I'm gonna keep posting as I normally would here in the BB forums until it's no more, or unless there's a turn around keeping it going (hopefully). It was good conversating with the people on here over the years and forming some friendships.

This is it for me, if this site goes I don't intend looking to join elsewhere, especially FB, I have a real dislike for that form of social media .

I'm really happy with my set up and could never have brought together the equipment I now possess without the advice so generously given by the members and the vast archive of information on this forum. I have no desire to purchase anything further for my gym, but so long as this place survives I'll continue to check in every now and then to see how the old geezers are doing

Does anyone have any experience with the Rogue LP-2 or the sorinex lat pulldown machine. I am trying to decide between the 2 and can't find much info on either of them.

For lack of a better place to put this that won't get buried under the astrologers, pimps, and pill pushers, Ironmaster lists this "Step Bench" on their website which is quite competitively priced at $160.

It would be interesting if the hard pad could be removed and replaced with a Rep pad on lag bolts.

Some interesting aspects are the original ironmaster style curved angle plate, but it is 14.75" tall, and the inability of it to accept any superbench/pro accessories.

I really enjoyed being a part of the equipment forum. Thanks to the equipment forum and all the great guys here, I got the motivation and knowledge to build my home gym.

I've joined www.exodus-strength.com but it is not the same. I suppose from here on out I will spend time working out instead of being here.
