turkey and lebanon literally can not take more. Those countries at this point are filled with syrians. Half of the population in Lebanon is syrian. It's small country with only 4m population.

And Turkey has estimated number of 3 to 4 million syrians. no one knows exact number because many of them are undocumented/unregistered.

The 2nd one is obviously the right answer but in order to do that, all these countries that caused the chit storm in that area of the world need to help clean it up now. You cant just take a chit and leave. The US, Europe, Canada etc, all have a duty to the innocent men, women and children of those countries. Letting the people in as refugees is not the right answer either. You cant juts allow tens of thousands of people into your borders and not expect it to have a strain on your economy, society etc.

We should take in like 200,000 refugees from all over, put them in texas or bama or somewhere in the south where they would fit in well. And then have the USA secede from those states and build a wall so they cant come in. Dont know why anyone would want to be associated with the southern states anyways, might as well at least help the refugees out and put them in the south.

Actually, northern democratic states take in more refugees and immigrants than southern states. Most southern states are republican predominantly. So because of that, they would kick these refugees out quickly.

As for the topic at hand, this country can't handle anymore refugees. Don't get me wrong, I feel bad for them, truly I do. But it's not our job to take care of them, they need to stand up for themselves. We as a country have enough problems and enough people as it is. This country is quickly becoming overpopulated, debt ridden and in many ways quickly heading towards being a third world country. We have far to many homeless as it is. Far to many people living in poverty. Not enough jobs right now. We are in debt up to our eyebrows. There is just way to much going on here that we need to deal with first and we can't take on more without making things more difficult for all.
