Never quite fit real sausage in, so good.
Hahahaha. I like to watch people circle the parking lot at stores just so they don't have to walk.
Jelly of your ability to fast the majority of the day. My hunger would eat a hole in my belly.
Do be shy on recording yourself and posting video. No one here is going to judge you. And you may gain some insight. I find recording to be invaluable form wise. Then you can look to see what is wonky.*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

It is sort of a breakfast sausage type that I buy from a local meat market.
Not the typical breakfast sausage though. Quite different. Love it.
I usually eat this when I am short on calories and there's not much time left in the day to fill up.
140 calories per link, no carbs or sugar Good protein, too.
The video could be applied to so many aspects of our lives.
Being too lazy, or too comfortable, or too dependent on others, or too whatever, to do those things which we have to do, and no one else could do them for us.
Most of the time when I do Intermittent Fasting, I end up doing it NOT on purpose.
I get very busy at work and totally forget about food.
Also, a big part of it is that I drink HUGE quantities of liquids: tea, green tea, powerade, COFFEE, whatever.
I can't drink water. Not plain. I can't stand it.
I assume you meant to say that I should NOT by shy to do it...
I will try at some point.
Thanks.

Amazing Success Stories
Weight Loss Success Stories
Source: http://www.health.com/
This article includes a list of 46 women who lost a lot of weight, by doing simple things such as starting to use MFP, running, cutting Carbs, lifting weights, so on.
I wonder if there is such a list with men...
Here is the first one on the list.
You can see the entire list on your own if you wish, here:http://www.health.com/health/gallery...572199,00.html
Barbara Delamarter lost weight by using the MFP app and by following a running program.
Before-Weight: 185 lbs
After-Weight: 132 lbs

I was getting a bit nervous about tonight's lifting session, because I don't want to hurt my back or develop chronic back pain.
So I was thinking to try small changes at first, instead of stopping altogether.
Tonight, I will do some good back stretches, before and after the sets, which I will have to look up.
If the pain persists, I will start by removing the stiffed-leg bends, or perhaps doing them without added-weight for a while.
Will write an update over the weekend, according to how things progress.
Happy Friday!

I heard you talking about stretches this week also, so I thought I'd give it a try.
Funny thing, you mention glutes and hamstrings... the intermitted back pain only showed up after I introduced a few more exercises to my routine, a few weeks ago:
• weighted squats
• weighted stiffed-leg bends (hamstrings)
• body-only backwards leg lifts (glutes)
will have to reconsider these in the next few days
... today, as I walked up and down the stairs in my house, I felt an inkling of back pain, in the same spot. It is the left side
it is not major, and it is intermittent, but I do not want it!
Thanks for the input

I suffer from tight glutes and hips and don't pay them attention that I should. Gives me low back pain which is the bane of my existence. Took a lacrosee ball to them tonight, there was screaming involved
Tightness in the body causes all sorts of issues. When you start doing certain movement, that tightness become very apparent with pain in different parts of the body. You are doing right by scaling back and being careful. I was careless when I first started lifting and messed myself up bad.
I got to get me some proper sausage, you are killing me with the pics*Trying to stay sane and get back to avi status.

I just finished my lifting routine for the night.
stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid• stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid• stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid• stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid • stupid
sorry, I had to let it out
phew... that felt good
I think I figured out the problem(s) that caused my intermittent back pain, which was actually getting worse throughout this past week.
1. I always lifted without warming up! How stupid... It never crossed my mind to take 4-5 minutes to stretch out and warm up before my routine.
2. I always began and ended my exercises by placing the dumbbells on the floor USING MY BACK, instead of bending my knees. How noob of me!
Tonight, I took 5 minutes to stretch my back, my arms, my legs, everything.
I also made sure to lift the dumbbells and place them back down by bending my knees, instead of just bending my back.
Dude... what a difference!
My back actually feels good.
I haven't enjoyed lifting like this... ever?
So much to learn.
And such a basic, common-sense thing...
(sorry about the profanity )

Have a read of this
If you stretch your muscles first before starting training, you will reduce the quality of your training session. You'll develop less strength, researchers from Sao Paulo State University write in an article that will be published soon in the Journal of Strength and Conditioning Research.
http://journals.lww.com/nsca-jscr/Ab..._Force.35.aspx- If you can't explain it simply, then you don't understand it well enough.

I don't know about that...
Are there other studies perhaps, that would say the opposite?
Why would they do this study on older women only, to begin with?
Study or no study, there was an incredible difference last night.
My back actually felt good during my routine. It feels very good right now.
Thanks for sharing.
