I've noticed that a lot. Things that appear to happen 'organically' as Gary says, lead right into a new topic with lots of material that they obviously had to prepare for.

I am pretty sure the show is way more scripted than you think. Howard legit gets mad if Fred misses a cue to play music or a sound effect...I think a lot of it is not spontaneous.
