Time To Say Goodbye... For A While

It is time to say Good Bye, at least for a while.

This gift came as a box filled with sausages and Smoked Pork Loin. That's right, sausages and Smoked Pork Loin. It was ordered online by one of our family members.



The sausages were a bit high in numbers for me, so I barely ate any of them. The loins however... oh my, they fit perfectly with my macros. Here's what that looked like:

Serving Size: 56g
C:95 F:1.5g Cbs:0g Sg:0g P:16g

I would usually have some 150g as a meal, along with some red peppers and some mustard on the side for dipping. That would yield awesome Calorie and Protein numbers.

It is time to say goodbye, at least for a while. Why, you ask? Well, because one hunk of loin costs $21-$24, depending on weight. I would easily go through a whole loin in 2-3 days.

This means that the person who ordered this for us spent $500 for the entire box, out of which $350 was for the loins alone. No way I can afford that. Not for Smoked Pork Loin...

Yesterday I opened the last package and cut some of it up for a meal. It should last me 2-3 days, and then I am done with it. As I say good bye, at least for a while, I am providing some photos, honoring that which was my sweet, delicious, macro-friendly Smoked Pork Loin!
