Nice looking produce there. I am weird and like to look at pictures produce. Produce porn is where its at

What is the difference taste wise in Florida avocado. We don't get those up here in Michigan.
The texture is similar, they just sort of taste like...nothing really and are sweet. It's weird. The Florida ones miss that "avocado" flavor.

I can handle heat, humidity kills me. stay safe! I prefer to run when it's around 80...I feel nice and loose. This past winter in Michigan I was running anywhere from 30 to 40 and it was brutal. half mile to just warm up and then afterwards it felt awful.

    Day 10.

Quick phone update. I ate between 2,000-2,700 calories on Day 10. We had a cook-out at my house and even though I stuck with turkey burgers and no bun/cheese, I had too many other snack foods like chips and guacamole and cheese dip. We also ate dinner around 3:00PM so I was hungry in the evening and ate a leftover turkey burger dipped in baked beans straight of the fridge like a Neanderthal before going to bed.

To get this thing rolling I've decided to stop boozing entirely for the next three weeks. Going to happy hours etc over the summer has seemed to coincide with my lack of motivation in the gym. I am planning on lifting of jogging tonight as well.

    Day 11.

Monday was the first day that I've been completely back on track. I ate around 1,850 calories, fought off temptation, avoided the glass of wine with dinner, and jogged a little over a mile with my wife.

OK - August 13 is the first weigh-in, the second is September 17th. If you win, I will mail you an original autographed Mookie Blaylock 8"x12" photograph. What do I get when I win?

    Day 12.

Ate around 1,800 calories and skipped over the free pizza at lunch today at work. No lifting other than no lifting, whatever.

    Day 13.

Had a long, stressful day at work but managed to maintain a decent deficit for the day.

Well, until I ate a large slice of key lime pie and ended up eating 2,200 calories on the day.

ohh man ^ key lime pie is delicious (and lemon bars). Chobani has a key lime yogurt with graham crumbs and white chocolate chip pieces if you like that sort of thing

Sorry to hear it wasn't a good day, hope tomorrow is better. Almost the end of the week!

Those are the worst. You've been super good all day until work is over and you're stressed out like mad. Shouldn't feel bad about it though. It's not like we don't workout, eat properly most of the time and aren't active. We should be less harsh on ourselves.

    Day 16.

Have to take a mulligan on today. Went to a Vietnamese restaurant for a social obligation and got my usual large bowl of pho with random meat pieces/guts in it. I always order it spicy but this one was ridiculous. The broth had this satanic red hue to it and when you smelled the steam you could feel the burn already spreading through your face. Needless to say that soup mixed with beers and a late night slice of pizza have left me spending most of my day sitting on the can or laid up in the fetal position praying for an exorcism of this curse of Saigon.

    Days 17 and 18.

On Sunday we hosted a group of friends over for a party. I ate mostly trash throughout the day and drank beer.

Monday I ate around maintenance at 2,200 calories.

Even thought I've been inconsistent since starting this log, I am still motivated and my mindset is changing back into diet mode. I just don't have that desperation to lose weight like I had in my last log, so I'm apparently more willing to indulge in the weekends and deal with weight spikes.

You can't keep worrying about the past. Today I will be eating at a deficit and will be either lifting or jogging this evening.

    7/31/15 - 187.8 lbs

I have have struggled with inconsistency as well. Been logging here since May and just now feel like I am starting to get my cutting legs back.

    You will get there.

    Days 19 & 20.

Ate around 1,850 calories on Day 19.

Today I was in the 2,300 range because I had to unexpectedly eat lunch out on the road. Looking forward to a good day tomorrow.

Tommorow is a new day, start afresh! And no matter what, you're still logging and putting in effort/hard work. It will pay off

    Day 21.

I ate in the 2000-2300 range. Maybe that's an over-estimate but I ate my wife's homemade chili and have no idea what she put in it. My log is going to be kind of spartan over he next week as I'm slammed with a project at work. Will continue logging calories regardless. This log will be successful eventually!

I apologize for the lack of updates. Am having kind of a crazy two weeks. Things should get back to normal this weekend. I have still been tracking what I eat and have more or less eaten maintenance calories or slightly over.

If things well go well, I might be moving which will delay this log kicking into gear slightly.
