Thanks!
So forgot to mention, today they had some baller wings and donuts in our break room. I managed to sit at the far away(from the food) table and sat looking away. Didn't touch either. Proud of myself for that lol. Just finished making my work lunch for next few days. Roasted some carrots, sweet potatoes, sweet peppers, brussel sprouts, and tomatoes(I'd post the pic but no idea how to!). Had some leftover rotisserie chicken that was pretty bland so mixed it was some eggs and made an egg/chicken salad of sorts to eat with my veggies. Going to bust out another good day tomorrow then do my first weekly weigh-in Wed morning!

400M run
21 box jumps
15 pullups/ring rows
9 burpees
Finished in 39:40. Crazy ass workout. After the workout ate an apple. Protein pudding and nectarine for morning snack. Chicken/eggs mix with veggies for lunch.

Dang yesterday kinda sucked after the morning workout. My left foot bone spur was driving me nuts all day at work(first time in a while it's bothered me), then shortly after getting home my stomach was in knots the rest of the night. Skipped morning workout and work this morning due to that miserable night :/ Started feeling much better around 2-3pm today. Just got back from cf workout. Haven't eaten much today. About 4-500 calories in chicken and an apple. Going to try eating some greens and protein pudding w/ chia seeds.
On a side note, I've been getting comments about looking leaner /yay. So motivating!

Yesterday ended up eating hardly anything. Appetite was really bad after the night before. Think I ate 5-600 calories chicken, some spinach, and a nectarine.
Today my appetite returned. PWO this morning I had a couple servings of sunflower seeds(340 cal) and an apple. Then while at work I had a couple servings chicken(200 cal), couple servings protein(300 cal), and some veggies(150). Sitting at about 1100 before dinner. Think my gf is making some steak w/ veggies so should easily come in under 2k for the day.

Started today with a protein shake ~150 cal. Ate some mixed fruit to go along with that. My gf and I went over to a flea and farmers market. Along the way I got some Cajun boiled peanuts and had quite a bit of those. We picked up a bunch of really cheap fruits/veggies. I can't remember ever being excited about cheap veggies ^_^ Think for dinner we're going out, but not sure yet.

Started the day with a cf workout. Some squats, then thrusters and burpees. In the morning ate an apple, nectarine, serving of protein pudding, leftover steak w/ asparagus, leftover roast at my parents' place, then 2 servings of sunflower seeds. Think I may finish the day with some protein pudding and/or veggies. 2 days until weigh-in gotta stay good

I'm not sure what happened with my weight this week. I went from 294 to 283.6 last week, but then was at 284.4 this past wednesday. I'm thinking I just lost too much water weight and my body corrected itself. Hopefully this week I'll get down to 281-282. Just gotta remind myself that I know I'm eating right and I've been doing the crossfit workouts 5 days a week. I definitely feel better, lighter. And my shoulders are showing some good definition.

Thanks man.
I was feeling like weighing in a little early and glad I did. Went down from 284 to 280. In 19 days down 14 pounds so far. I've been really enjoying whole 30. I know exactly what I can and can't eat ans don't even bother counting calories. Usually I have an idea of what I'm at for the day, but it's really nice not being restrained by calorie/macro counting.

Thanks 😄 It's definitely working good. I like that for the first time ever I actually feel like I'm eating right without all the bull**** counting. I weighed in Wednesday at the same weight as monday, but then weighed again post workout and came in 278ish. I have exactly a week until I hit my 30 days of whole 30. Definitely keeping sugars, breads, and grains out of my diet moving forward. I might throw in some yogurt and cheese to help keep my sanity 😛

Thanks man, just trying to take it one day at a time.
Been keeping with the diet well. Yesterday I had a slight cheat. My gf has these single serving things of peanut butter. I slowly ate one of those with my damn thumb and savored it :P Ate pretty well the rest of the day. 5 days until my 30-day weigh-in. I'm hoping to drop 20 overall...it's going to be close.

Came over to my gf's for a couple days, but forgot my dang scale! Instead of a 30-day weigh-in it will be a 31-day weigh-in as of tomorrow morning. I don't think I'm going to hit the original 20 I was going for, but I'm hoping for 18ish. I had another cheat this morning...ate some damn cheerios w/ milk. First grain/milk I've had in 31 days. I'd like to continue eating as I've been eating, but plan on throwing in some dairy. Still going no grains/breads/sugars. I'd like to also start messing around with some almond/coconut flour and see what I can do with it. Probably going for 2-3 lbs/week from here on out.

I actually did really well that first month of whole 30. But then I decided to have a couple cheat meals and that turned into well over 2 weeks. As of 9/12 I lost 17.6 pounds, dropping from 294 to 276.4. Fast Forward to this morning, after ~16 days of just going full ham, eating horrendously awful, I'm back up to 285. The yo-yo is real. Going back on whole 30+dairy. Continuing to leave sugars/breads/grains out of my diet.

Don't think I ate a whole lot today. Had some leftover chicken(aka the freezer high fat kind), about 2 servings. A can of tuna chicken, large sweet potato, 3 tomatoes, 1/3 onion, 2 carrots, and a bag of dried/baked green beans(with coconut oil on the veggies), 100 cal pack nuts, and I snack on sunflower seeds.

After taking off ~9 days from working out(partially due to eating terrible, and my body just needed a break) I returned to working out yesterday. It was a BRUTAL timed CF workout called "badger."
30 reps squat clean @ 95lbs
30 pull-ups(or in my case, cable rows)
800m run
3 rounds, or 40 minutes. I managed 2 rounds+19 squat cleans.
Today was snatch day, but freaken sucked! I usually love my snatches, but since last week was max cycle they switch it up and do some different stuff the next couple weeks after. So today was 3 rounds of touch n go power snatches. I used 95 pounds thinking it would be easy...ha...ha. Think I managed 8 reps, then 6, then 5. For conditioning it was a 12-minute emom of 25 double unders(50 singles for me)+5 burpees, 12 push-ups, 12 toe to bar(knee raise for me).
Two pretty tough workouts for returning back to the grind. Feels hella good though. I saw something interesting, one of those stupid ******** meme's or w/e they're called and the gist of it was "stay active. Switch it up daily. If you're doing the gym 5 days a week, that doesn't mean you can't add more, such as some extra biking, running, swimming, team sports, hiking, etc. Just stay active, do something every day, etc." Thought it was pretty cool and definitely something I need to live by. Just because I don't do a CF workout doesn't mean I can't find other stuff to do.
So far today I ate a banana, a few servings of frozen chicken breast w/ cheese. A few eggs, some mixed veggies. I'm working a later shift so I spent the last few hours prepping food for the next couple days. Set-up a couple tupperwares with chicken and veggies. A couple with eggs/veggies. And a few with just veggies. If I can keep up with my food prep I think I'll be okay.

If I could get my diet in-line with my training I'd be so damn set. But the diet is always a struggle :/ I cut back crossfit to 3 days a week so I could focus on more strength training and just have time for other things. I'd like to start doing the major lifts at least once a week. If not during a CF workout, I could do them on my own, while still mixing it up and doing random stuff. And even though my scale weight has been about the same for a while, I can definitely see a difference in the mirror.
