Because it's worked so great in the past, right? Face it: while capitalism in a democratic government system might not be able to take care of everyone, it's currently the best system on the planet for the majority of people. Logic would have me believing that you unitalitarianism fanboys would be completely on board with capitalism, but it just isn't so.

I don't agree on redistubing the wealth. If somebody works their ass off for something, they deserve most of what they earned. What you're stating sounds like putting a bandaid over a gash. How about getting more people into school? Trade school or college? That is much much better idea for the long term future. Giving poor people money wont solve anything, but sending them to school will propel them and their families to success


As for taxing the rich, I don't really have an opinion on that. I mean who really needs more than $100k a month? But they did work their ass off for it, so I say tax them, but lethem enjoy themselves

-Low income people earn more $$
-Low income learn values
-Low income become middle class
-More middle class means more money in economy
-More kids can attend college/trades because parents earn more
-Less stress on Small and Big businesses having to support low income
-Economy advances because more people are educated
-Everyone pays less taxes because there are less low income individuals

How it works in a civilized country (Sweden, Finland for example)

You wont be a millionaire, but you will make enough to live a great life, good social benefits, enough money to do what you want, secure life. Low crime. Good health care. What more do you want?

Redistribution of wealth is a myth. History dictates that there are have and have nots and government is usually linked to the haves.

-I work at Walmart. The people I know have worked their for 5,10,15,20 years. Why should I get punished for those who make such a mistake? I mean what possible excuse do you have to work at such a sht place for so long? Yes trade school can be competitive, but if you're patient you're bound to get in.

-Im black and have lived around black people. Giving them free money ain't gone do sht. I'd much rather for my people be allowed to go to school, that way they can propel themselves AND their 3-4 kids, who can also go into college, into a better life.

yeah because it is great right now right? This country is in need of a political overhaul. Workers need defended. Job need created. Taxes need to be enforced and brackets need to be redone, infrastructure is crumbling, education system failing. Explain to me how LESS government is going to fix that?

If you think the poorly educated vast majority of the this country knows what to do, then i will just move to norway.
