    Everything in sight. I ate like 3-4k calories, my maintainance is 2.6k~~. So in a 1000calorie+ surplus. I also had a month cut in the middle, cause i was getting REALLY fat.

    I always kept my protein high tho, and did no cardio, just progressivly added weight to my lifts, which increased from 70kg to 100kg bench, 110 to 150kg squat and 145 to 185kg deadlifit.

    I wouldn't reccomend to do this tho, rather bulk lean and look good while doing it.

    I gained both, and could have gained just as much if i kept my surplus to a 300-500 instead of a 1000..
    That goes for anyone wanting to look decent & still gain size & strength.

    Haha thank for the positive comments guys, but next time I'm going to bulk, it will be CLEAN, because i hate ****ing cutting.

    Reason being: i hate losing strength, and thats what i am doing. Also i didn't like being that fat & my GF hated it LoL.

    You are a very "hard-gainer" i guess. I'm not. I gain weight VERY easy, and i lose weight VERY easy, so yea.. thats why i cannot go into a 1000cal surplus.

    What are you basing this assumption on?
    You have something called a P-ratio, which is basicly the ratio of calories disposed into muscle tissue vs. adipose tissue. I will give you that larger surpluses have diminishing returns, but I am certain you would not have gained as much muscle as quickly if you had pussyfooted around with your calories.

    Of course not as much gain, but i would have gained a decent amount of it. By doing that i wouldn't have lost as much muscle once i started cutting, so all in all i would probably have gained the same size, while having less BF% on my body over the whole bulk, and i would have gotten leaner faster.

    When I first started lifting at 15 I dirty bulked and I went from 150 at 15% bodyfat to 180 in one year, then from 16 to 17 I went from 180 to 190, and then from 17 to 18 I went up about 205 at 19% bodyfat, and that's about what i'm at now (i'm turning 19 in 2 months).

    This happened to me once, now I am single digit body fat I'm planning to SLOWLY bulk up and try and maintain low bf to the best of my ability. I'm more concerned with how I look at this point in my life

    Also I think that you lowered your calorie intake way too much. Loosing strength on bench and ohp is normal and 5kg is not that big of a deal but loosing 15 kg on a deadlift is too much when lot of people successfully maintain their deadlift and squat numbers on a cut but that's just my humble opinion. BTW what your lifts are?
    Squat: 152,5kgx5
    Bench: 85x5
    Deadlift: 180kgx1

    175 dead 140 squat and 95 bench (calculated maxes) had 185, 150, 100 before (actually tried them out).
